� GENERAL INFORMATION

Elimko, specialized in producing computer controlled systems byemploying the most up to date developments in current technologies,is offering instruments employing the self designed microprocessors.

With his specialized staff, Elimko has developed highly reliablesoftwares and hardwares without any know-how, lisence and patentsfrom an outer sources. As such, Elimko renders the advantages of theComputer World in Automation Control to the services of Turkishand other countries’ industry.

With the ever increasing importance and trend for employment of"Computer Controlled Systems", the contemporary institutions arethus able to increase their productions and are able to offer higherquality products with higher productivity and better economics.

With the day to day increasing cost of energy and the acceleratedtrend of cost increases in labour and raw materials, the industrialistsin global term can solve these problems only with the employment ofComputer Controlled Systems. This problem is even morepronounced in Turkey where the trend of increased exports ispredominant. In these cases where the highly flexible and evolvingtechnology has been adopted any time, Elimko has made significantprogress. Elimko with numerous applications in the "Stand Alone" andDistributed Control Systems, has achieved a well accepted level ofrecognition with his locally manufactured systems.

Micro-processor equipped modular devices can be expanded in linewith the needs of the system and more flexibility can be achieved withadditional cards. The CPU cards, input/output cards, analog/digitalconverter cards that are all produced in the standard norms areplaced in the racks of the modular designed devices.

These highly reliable devices with Micro-processors can be linked tothe personal computers (PC) within a system configuration. All datas,parameters, alarm functions, statistical data related with the systemcan be saved in the computer disc or in floppy discs. These can befollowed in detail on the process flow diagram monitor. Necessarychanges of the related parameters can be made online on the monitor.

� OUR CAPABILITY

INDUSTRIAL COMPUTERSWith these microcontroller based modular devices with membranetype front panel, the switches are programmed by touching on thescreen. Communication with the user is established with thesufficient number of LED or LCD display and the keyboard placed infront of the instrument. With the function keys on the keyboard,direct access is provided to certain functions and thus requiredmodifications are made. These serial devices can be linked to eachother via the RS232 or RS485 communication technique and can bemonitored through the operator computer.

PERSONEL COMPUTERS (PC)According to the system requirements, industrial computers can beconnected to a personal computer. All system parameters can bearranged using PC and process variables can be monitored. Elimkomade softwares are running without any problem on Win9x,Win2000 and WinXP based operating systems. On request,softwares are arranged to support multi language, local networkand/or internet connection.

MIMIC DISPLAYComputer world’s most important display feature is the mimicdiagram possibility. In the color display all areas of the plant, theoperation of the plant can be live monitored. Positions of the valves,conversion parameters, the position of the conversion parameters,pumps, motor functions, tank levels, conveyor band movements, areactually windows opened up for the operator to those parts of theplant. Multiple page mimic diagrams can be prepared in accordancewith the size of the plant and the required details.

TREND DISPLAYThe change of all variables in the system with respect to time can bebrought to the display as individuals or groups. Computers with thisfunction replaces the conventional recorders and provides valuableinformation to the operator. By using the stored data from thememory, it can display in the monitor, the changes in the last 8, 16,24, 32, 48... hours. Whilst the instant change of the curve ismonitored, the min and max set values can be shown in differentcolors in terms of warnings. The curves seen on the monitor can beobtained as a print out by using a suitable printer.

BAR GRAPHIC DISPLAYAs with the analog horizontal and vertical bar graphic displays withconventional devices, variables can be displayed on the monitor asbar graphics in accordance with the desired purpose in green-red-white or other colors. As such, during the conversion from theanalog to computer universe, users can achieve a display similar tothe one that is used before. In the single or multiple bar graphicdisplay, the zero span values, alarm set points, set values, instantvalues and tag numbers of each variable can be easily seen on themonitor.

SYSTEM PANELSThe system control and power panels that are used in the realizedsystems are self built by Elimko. Precise and accurate manufacturingmeasures are employed in accordance with the DIN and IEC norms.Panels of Electronic or Pneumatic nature are assembled by theexpert staff employed in Elimko. First class craftmanship and qualityproven materials are employed during manufacture. In the mimicdiagrams used in our panels, most up to date multicolor bands areemployed.

CONTROL ROOMSThe most important aspect of the control system of a plant is thecontrol room. Control panels, MMC panels, computer consuls andancillaries must be situated in a most ergonomic nature. Elimko givesmuch emphasis to this requirement and in the plants where oursystems are used, most suitable layout of the control room is jointlydetermined together with the user.

PRINTERAll the mimic trend bar displays can be acquired as a print outreport when desired by just pressing on a button. All failures, alarmsof the measuring and control elements can be recorded as month,day, hour and minutes. Various batch receipts, furnace temperatureregime curves can be saved as print outs from the printer. Generalprint outs can be taken at the end of the shifts and can be stored inthe yearly statistical folders.
