This 2 Din head unit is suitable for MAZDA3 2004 -2009 (Not suit: New Mazda3 2010).

The upgrade version is available now. The units have CAN-BUS, so it can work with Mazda 3 which has on-board trip computer (06-09versions). The small LCD screen will be still working. But the menu has a little difference from the old version, you can contact live chat to get thenew version pictures.

And it doesnt support the BOSE sound system. If you have BOSE in your car you need to ask a technician to do some modification for you orelse there will be no sound. The second is that the CDC is available now, but it may affect the iPod function. So our players in stock are with iPod,no CDC. Finally the only way to receive the TV signal is to add an external digital TV receiver.

I have just raceved this unit to my Mazda 3 and have install it. But there is no sound. Everything else is function perfect. My Mazda 3 have Bosesound system, does that unit no t funktion with Bose sound system??

i bought this unit about two years ago, and have almost no problems with it. Sometimes its a bit slow. (only if navigate and listen mp3 from sd-card at same time).Really is worth the money!! And has a good quality

I have used this product fo r almost 2 years now and I am willing to write a review of the reliability etc in the long term.

The unit does what it promises. I have put Navigon, Tomtom and IGO navigation software on the unit without any problems.

In the 2 years o f having this unit I only had 2 or 3 freezes o f the unit. They occur when I change the time on the unit. But after a reset o f the uniteverything is ok.

Other then those 3 freezes the unit worked like a charm. Movies, MP3's, music over Bleutooth and radio have been used allo t with perfect soundquality.

I bought this unit thinking it would be glitchy and wont last fo r many years. But the unit has proven o therwise. Before this one I had a expensivePioneer system in my previous car, but that one was freezing all the time.

I only have 3 problems without any so lution yet (Please tell me if you know a so lution).

1. When I am in navigation mode and I return to the radio or mp3 to change a song I can not open the navigation screen again. It runs in thebackground and gives me directions but I can not see the map any more.

2. I can not upload the contact list o f my new Windows Phone any more to the unit (It was possible with my o ld blackberry though).

3. When I close the navigation mode the time on my unit is wrong (1 hour).

Great unit with very limited instructions, like ho lding mute button will turn o ff screen, which is great when driving at night. I still have not figured outhow to get the sub-woofer out to work. The unit looks like it came with the car, just wish sub-woofer out worked.

Purchased this a few weeks ago. Kinda sad to see that right after I purchased one the price dropped $50 :(. Overall its a very good unit and all myfriends are quite jealous o f it. It works well, though obviously has some odd quirks such as differing menus for different play modes, Bluetooth Micdoesn't work well enough to be used when the cars driving, stuff o f that sort. My only question is how do I access my trip computer with this unit? Iset the lcd to show my trip computer display before installing, however after powering the dvdunit o ff, it turned o ff the trip and switched it to theclock. How can I go back to the trip without having to plug in my o ld radio?

I decided to order this player even after I've read some bad reviews on it. As it o ffers 60-day returning if it's defected, so I wasn't worried. I believeit's been about 2 weeks since I've had the player. As we have a long new year trip, my wife watch it who le nights and it still works fine. Remote forpower on has a little delay. I have to press it twice sometimes. Other than that it is good for your money. This will probably be the last "retail" DVDplayer I ever purchase. USB and SD card slo t are made to run for long periods o f times and wouldn't die out on you for many years to come. ifyou're really looking for a player to last you years. Honestly I do not expect this player to last fo r more than 2 years but I am expecting at least 1full year out o f it.
