Butterflies in India migrate twice a year Their journey is getting harderand harder because our forests and rivers are disappearing Butterfliesdonrsquot have enough places to rest Many get tired along the way
One way to help butterflies is to make safe spaces for them to stop andhave a good meal

Find a flat vessel with high edges like a thali or aplate
Butterflies love bright colours Paint the vessel redyellow or orange
Fill the vessel with butterfly food Itrsquos easy to makeMix four cups of water with one cup of sugar

Add pieces of over-ripe fruit Butterflies lovebananas guavas mangoes papayas and oranges
Keep the vessel out on your veranda windowsill oranywhere outside
Clean and refill the vessel every two to three days

Butterflies love bright colours Paint the vessel redyellow or orange

Keep the vessel out on your veranda windowsill oranywhere outside

Butterflies in India migrate twice a year Their journey is getting harderand harder because our forests and rivers are disappearing Butterfliesdonrsquot have enough places to rest Many get tired along the way
One way to help butterflies is to make safe spaces for them to stop andhave a good meal

Herersquos how to make a butterfly reststation
Find a flat vessel with high edges like a thali or aplate
Butterflies love bright colours Paint the vessel redyellow or orange
Fill the vessel with butterfly food Itrsquos easy to makeMix four cups of water with one cup of sugar

Add pieces of over-ripe fruit Butterflies lovebananas guavas mangoes papayas and oranges
Keep the vessel out on your veranda windowsill oranywhere outside
Clean and refill the vessel every two to three days
To attract even more butterflies plant flowers thatbutterflies love You can plant verbena geraniumsdahlias or sunflowers You donrsquot need a lot of spacendash you can plant them in pots on the ground or keepthem on windowsills

One way to help butterflies is to make safe spaces for them to stop andhave a good meal

Find a flat vessel with high edges like a thali or aplate
Butterflies love bright colours Paint the vessel redyellow or orange
Fill the vessel with butterfly food Itrsquos easy to makeMix four cups of water with one cup of sugar

Add pieces of over-ripe fruit Butterflies lovebananas guavas mangoes papayas and oranges
Keep the vessel out on your veranda windowsill oranywhere outside
Clean and refill the vessel every two to three days
To attract even more butterflies plant flowers thatbutterflies love You can plant verbena geraniumsdahlias or sunflowers You donrsquot need a lot of spacendash you can plant them in pots on the ground or keepthem on windowsills

Butterflies in India migrate twice a year Their journey is getting harderand harder because our forests and rivers are disappearing Butterfliesdonrsquot have enough places to rest Many get tired along the way
One way to help butterflies is to make safe spaces for them to stop andhave a good meal

Find a flat vessel with high edges like a thali or aplate
Butterflies love bright colours Paint the vessel redyellow or orange
Fill the vessel with butterfly food Itrsquos easy to makeMix four cups of water with one cup of sugar

Add pieces of over-ripe fruit Butterflies lovebananas guavas mangoes papayas and oranges
Keep the vessel out on your veranda windowsill oranywhere outside
Clean and refill the vessel every two to three days
