INVITATION TO SPONSOR

You are invited to sponsor the Australian Regional Development Conference (ARDC) on the 26 - 28 August 2015 at the Commercial Club, Albury on the New South Wales and Victorian border.

Following the success of the 2014 conference, don’t miss your opportunity to be involved in the 2015 event, an initiative of the Association for Sustainability in Business Inc., a non-Government ‘not-for-profit’ organisation. The Association’s previous events have focused on liveable cities, urban design and sustainability in urban settings. Our members have requested we turn our focus onto regional development.

Included in this sponsorship proposal is the ARDC Regional Development Innovation Awards that will be presented at the conference dinner on the following categories: Economic Development; Community Development; Planning & Building; and Environment & Sustainability.

ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

Themed “Regional Australia - Redefining the Future”, the conference will explore the issues and opportunities facing Regional Australia today and into the future.

The main driver behind the growth of Australian regional towns, especially of those in Queensland and Western Australia, is the continuous development of resources, for other regional areas business innovation is a necessity for future growth. Research has shown that the creativity, confidence and vision of locals, is central to a region’s successful development and growth.

Regional Innovation is vital and has immediate benefits to the local community. There has been significant unemployment growth in regional areas over the past year, especially in the area of manufacturing. Job losses are more visible in smaller communities therefore; we must look at other opportunities to stimulate workforce participation.

Developing regional agriculture should be another area of focus following the announcement of new Free Trade Agreements. These FTA’s will allow Australia to compete more

fairly with other export nations and provide a framework for our commercial relationships with trading partners. They will increase trade and investment opportunities with foreign exchange assisting the creation of jobs in Australia.

Building better infrastructure across rural Australia is required to strengthen all aspects of Regional Development including tourism and transport industries.

The program will include an extensive range of topics with keynote presenters, concurrent sessions, case studies, workshops and poster presentations.

The Conference Dinner will be held on the first evening of the conference. This dinner is included in the full delegate registration cost. The Conference Dinner sponsor will receive:

LUNCH SPONSOR PER DAY: $1,500

The Lunch breaks are held for a duration of one hour each day. This is the time when delegates come together to network and make new connections. The Lunch Sponsor will receive:

All delegates will receive a name badge upon registration. This name badge is required to be worn for the duration of the conference by all delegates. The Name Badge Sponsor will receive:

The program is the main focus for all delegates leading to high company exposure as a Stream Sponsor. The Stream Sponsor will receive:

INNOVATION AWARDS FOR REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT $1,500

There will be four awards presented at the Conference Dinner. The categories are: Economic Development Award; Planning & Building Award; Environment & Sustainability Award and Community Development Award.

These awards will be presented to organisations that have achieved innovation in their category. Organisation will nominate themselves via the conference website and an advisory committee will decide the winner of each category. The Awards will be presented at the Conference Dinner on 27th August 2015.

The Sponsor of the Award will receive:

− Naming rights to one of the award categories with recognition in the program − 2 complimentary tickets to attend the presentation ceremony at the Conference Dinner− Acknowledgement of sponsor by the Master of Ceremonies− Recognition of their sponsorship with the Award trophy engraved with sponsors name − Opportunity to present the Award to the winning recipient

CONFERENCE EXHIBITION $1,000

Take part in the Australian Regional Development Conference exhibition to ensure maximum exposure to the leaders in the industry. The Conference Exhibitor will receive:

− 1 clothed trestle table− Display board positioned behind the table− 2 chairs− Promotion as an exhibitor via company name and logo listed in the handbook− Company logo with links on the websites− One exhibitor registration for your organisation representative (includes entry to exhibition only)− Opportunity to purchase up to two additional exhibition passes for $300

The exhibition will run for the duration of the conference. Positions will be allocated by the committee based on each organisation’s level of sponsorship, the date of booking, and proximity to competitors.

Morning and afternoon teas and lunches will be located within the exhibition to ensure that your company has excellent exposure to delegates.

CONFERENCE HANDBOOK ADVERTISING

The conference handbook will be provided to all delegates and will be viewed throughout and after the event.

Upon confirmation of sponsorship or exhibition please forward a copy of your company logo in print quality format to the Conference Secretariat to ensure full acknowledged and promotional of your involvement in the conference is received.

Show your support of these important events by including the conference logo/s on your company’s website. Please contact Conference Secretariat for a copy of the conference logo/s.

COMPANY DESCRIPTION

Recognition as a sponsor and exhibitor will be included in the conference handbook. A maximum 100 word company description should be emailed to the Conference Secretariat by 15 July 2015.

CONFERENCE HANDBOOK ADVERTISEMENTS

Upon confirmation of sponsorship or advertising a media kit with advertisement specifications will be emailed.

All handbook artwork must be emailed to the Conference Secretariat by 15 July 2015.

CANCELLATIONS

Cancellations of sponsorship, exhibition or advertising must be received either by mail, fax or email to the Conference Secretariat. A 50% cancellation fee will be charged for cancellations received in writing prior to 5pm on 29 July 2015. After this date there will be no refunds made. Non payment does not constitute cancellation.
