I will praise you, O Lord, among the nations; I will sing of you among the peoples.
For great is your love, reaching to the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies.
Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; let your glory be over all the earth.
Psalm 57:9-11
Isaiah 45:23If my prayer be not humble make it so
In these last hours if the Spirit waits in check help me let it goAnd should my suffering double let me never love You less
Let every knee be bent, and every tongue confess
And I won't get better but someday I'll be free'Cause I am not this body that imprisons me
I read the magazines somebody broughtHold them to my failing eyes until my hands get hot
And when the nurse comes in to change my sheets and clothesThe pain begins to travel, dancing as it goes
If my prayer goes unanswered that's alrightIf my path fills with darkness and there is no sign of light
Let me praise You for the good times, let me hold Your banner high
Until the hills are flattened and the rivers all run dry

Isaiah's vision of the LordIsaiah 6:1-7
1 In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord
seated on a throne, high and exalted, and the
train of his robe filled the temple. 2 Above him
were seraphs, each with six wings: With two wings
they covered their faces, with two they covered
their feet, and with two they were flying. 3 And
they were calling to one another:
"Holy, holy, holy is the LORD Almighty;
the whole earth is full of his glory."
4 At the sound of their voices the doorposts and thresholds shook and the temple was filled with smoke. 5 "Woe to me!" I cried. "I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the LORD Almighty." 6 Then one of the seraphs flew to me with a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with tongs from the altar. 7 With it he touched my mouth and said, "See, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for."

God is holy, holy, holy.Only once in sacred scripture is an attribute of God elevated to the third degree. Only once is a characteristic of God mentioned 3 times in succession. The Bible says that God is holy, holy, holy. Not that he is merely holy, or even holy, holy. He is holy, holy, holy. The Bible never says that God is love, love, love; or mercy, mercy, mercy; or wrath, wrath, wrath; or justice, justice, justice. It does say that he is holy, holy, holy and that the whole earth is full of his glory. - R.C. Sproul, The Holiness of God

”“God is bigger than you think.
Whatever your idea of God is, it ISN'T big enough!

Isaiah’s problem
”“"Woe to me!" I cried. "I am
ruined! For I am a man of
unclean lips, and I live among a
people of unclean lips, and my
eyes have seen the King, the
LORD Almighty."- Prophet Isaiah
You have a problem.
”“The Gospel is called the ‘good
news’ because it addresses the
most serious problem that you and
I have as human beings, and that
problem is simply this: God is holy
and He is just, and I’m not. And at
the end of my life, I’m going to
stand before a just and holy God,
and I’ll be judged.- R.C. Sproul

A picture of Jesus
Hebrews 9:24-26
[24] For Christ has entered, not into holy places
made with hands, which are copies of the true things,
but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence
of God on our behalf. [25] Nor was it to offer himself
repeatedly, as the high priest enters the holy places
every year with blood not his own, [26] for then he
would have had to suffer repeatedly since the
foundation of the world. But as it is, he has appeared
once for all at the end of the ages to put away sin by
the sacrifice of himself.
Jesus is God.
John 12:39-41
37Even after Jesus had done all these miraculous signs in
their presence, they still would not believe in him. 38This
was to fulfill the word of Isaiah the prophet: "Lord, who
has believed our message and to whom has the arm of
the Lord been revealed?" 39For this reason they could not believe, because,
as Isaiah says elsewhere:
40"He has blinded their eyes and deadened their hearts,
so they can neither see with their eyes, nor understand
with their hearts, nor turn—and I would heal them." 41Isaiah said this because he saw Jesus' glory and spoke
about him.

In the Shadow of the Glorious Cross
In the shadow of the glorious cross
Compelled by grace to cast my lot—
Embrace the loss and bare your name
Forsaking all for your own fame
Words and Music: Brooks Ritter and Rebecca Bales CCLI #1181771
Your hymn of grace sung over me
Abounding forth in glorious streams
My thirst is quenched by you my Lord
Sustained am I redeemed restored
Sustained am I redeemed restored
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
When death’s dark shadow’s at my feet
When I am plagued by unbelief
You place my hands into your side
By precious blood identified
By precious blood identified
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
These crowns I’ve clenched with fisted hands—
I cast them down before the throne
Of Christ, my God, the worthy lamb:
Christ crucified, the Great I AM
Christ crucified, the Great I AM
Christ crucified, the Great I AM
In the shadow of the glorious cross
Compelled by grace to cast my lot—
Embrace the loss and bare your name
Forsaking all for your own fame
How Deep the Father’s Love for Us
How deep the Father’s love for us,how vast beyond all measure.
That He should give His only Sonto make a wretch His treasure.
How great the pain of searing loss. The Father turns His face away
As wounds which mar the Chosen Onebring many sons to glory.

Behold the man upon a cross,my sin upon His shoulders.
Ashamed I hear my mocking voicecall out among the scoffers.
It was my sin that held Him thereuntil it was accomplished.
His dying breath has brought me life.I know that it is finished.
I will not boast in anything,no gifts, no power, no wisdom. But I will boast in Jesus Christ,
His death and resurrection. Why should I gain from His reward?
I cannot give an answer. But this I know with all my heart.
His wounds have paid my ransom.
Behold the man upon a cross,my sin upon His shoulders.
Ashamed I hear my mocking voicecall out among the scoffers.
It was my sin that held Him thereuntil it was accomplished.
His dying breath has brought me life.I know that it is finished.
Before the Throne of God Above
Before the throne of God aboveI have a strong, a perfect plea
A great High Priest whose name is “Love”Who ever lives and pleads for meMy name is graven on His hands, My name is written on his heart
I know that while in heav’n He standsNo tongue can bid me thence departNo tongue can bid me thence depart
Words and music by Charitie Lees Bancroft and Vikki Cook © 1997 PDI Worship CCLI #1181771
When Satan tempts me to despairAnd tells me of the guilt within,
Upward I look and see Him there Who made an end to all my sin. Because the sinless Savior diedMy sinful soul is counted free; For God, the Just, is satisfied
To look on him and pardon meTo look on him and pardon me.
Behold him there! the risen LambMy perfect, spotless Righteousness,
The great unchangeable I AM, The King of glory and of grace! One with Himself I cannot die,
My soul is purchased by His blood; My life is hid with Christ on high,
With Christ, my Savior and my GodWith Christ, my Savior and my God
One with Himself I cannot die, My soul is purchased by His blood; My life is hid with Christ on high,
With Christ, my Savior and my GodWith Christ, my Savior and my GodWith Christ, my Savior and my God
Narrow Little Road
I believe in the love of GodIt is an orphan’s wildest dream
It is a narrow little roadIt is an ever widening desert stream
Oh I, and I…I will leave this roadFor the narrow
(2x)
Words and Music: Mo Leverett, ed. Tim Johnson © 1995 CCLI #1181771
It is portrayed in the bread and wineLet it fortify my bones
It is more than just a signIt is the fountain from the desert stone
Oh I, and I…I will leave this roadFor the narrow
(2x)
The love of God is the hymn of hopeLet the needy join the throngLet the fallen take the rope
Let the cripple rise to sing this song
Oh I, and I…I will leave this roadFor the narrow
(2x)
It is the path where the humble goIt is the narrow, not the broad
It is the pathway up the hillTo the graveyard of the Living God
Oh I, and I…I will leave this roadFor the narrow
(2x)

Indescribable, Uncontainable,You placed the stars in the skyAnd You know them by name.
You are amazing God.All powerful, Untameable,
Awestruck we fall to our knees As we humbly proclaim:
You are amazing God
Who has told every lightning bolt Where it should go
Or seen heavenly storehouses laden with snow
Who imagined the sun And gives source to its light
Yet conceals it to bring us the coolness of night
None can fathom…
Indescribable, Uncontainable,You placed the stars in the skyAnd You know them by name.
You are amazing God.All powerful, Untameable,
Awestruck we fall to our knees As we humbly proclaim:
You are amazing God
Indescribable, Uncontainable,You placed the stars in the skyAnd You know them by name.
You are amazing God.Incomparable, UnchangeableYou see the depths of my heart
And you love me the same
You are amazing God
