World Book Day and Book Fair
We have had another great World Book Day with all
staff and children making an extra special effort to
dress as their favourite book characters.
This year we had some amazing home made
costumes proving that you don’t have to spend a lot
of money to look the part!
The staff were unrecognisable in their costumes…
Mrs Mukit organised a competition to see if the children could find which book was each
of the staff’s favourite childhood book.
Miss Stubbs asked each class to come up with a new slogan for our reading board on the
bottom corridor which will display all the great learning the children have been taking
part in.
The winning slogan from Eagle class was:
The most fascinating secrets lie in a book...
School Closure
School will be closed on Thursday
10th and Friday 11th March 2016
for staff training. Please ensure
alternative provision is made for
your child’s care.
Clean for the Queen
The Pupil Leadership Team and the Eco Warriors took to the streets today to Clean for the
Queen!
They used litter pickers to tidy up the streets surrounding the school to make our local
community cleaner.
