ENROLLMENTThe fee for this camp is $400 for overnight campers and $300 for day campers. The Athletic Training Summer Camp is open to any and all participants entering grades 9-12 in the fall of 2019. Full payment is required at the time of online registration. You may register online by visiting OhioStateBuckeyes.com/camps. A 3% processing fee will be added to all online registrations. If registering by mail, please make your check payable to The Ohio State University. Any non-scholastic group of 5 or more that wishes to pay with one check for the entire group must do so ahead of time via mail. Any non-scholastic organization with a group of 5 or more registering the day of the camp must pay with credit card, cash, or money order. No exceptions will be made.

DISCOUNTSChildren of Ohio State University employees are eligible to receive a discounted employee rate at $300 per overngiht camper or $200 per day camper. Proof of employment (i.e., copy of Employee ID or BuckID) and payment must be provided at the time of registration by mail. Discounts are not available through online registration. Please make checks payable to The Ohio State University.

REQUIRED FORMS FOR PARTICIPATION The Parent Consent, Waiver & Release Form AND the Concussion Information Form are REQUIRED for all participants. These forms must be completed during online registrations. Upon reciept of mail-in registrations, we will email a link to complete these forms online. Athletes will not be permitted to participate without these forms.

CONFIRMATIONUpon processing of each registration, a confi rmation notice will be sent by email. A packet of “Important Information for Registered Campers” (including the Parent Consent, Waiver & Release Form and Concussion Information Form) will be posted online at OhioStateBuckeyes.com/camps at least 2 weeks prior to the start of the event. This packet will not be separately mailed to campers. Please check your email regularly, as this is our primary method of communication with campers and their parents.

REFUNDSA refund less a $50 administrative fee (overnight campers) or a $25 administrative fee (day campers) will be issued for any cancellation received by at least 2 weeks prior to the start of camp. The administrative fee and the 3% online processing fee are not refundable for ANY reason.

Because we have to guarantee our number of campers in order to prepare for camp, any cancellation received less than 2 weeks prior to the start of camp will not be eligible for any refund except in the case of injury, illness, or mandatory school event, in which case supporting documentation from a doctor or school is required.

A camp fee may not be transferred to any other Ohio State sports camp. A camp fee may not be transferred to any other camper. All cancellation notices must be received by the deadline above and submitted by mail, email, or fax - no phone calls or voicemails. All supporting documentation required for a refund to be approved and processed must be submitted within 10 days after the conclusion of the camp session. Refund requests must be submitted on the Refund Request Form available at OhioStateBuckeyes.com/camps. Campers who are injured while at camp but remain at camp will not be eligible for any refund.

JUNE 12 - 14, 20192020 - 2023 High School Graduates

We welcome you to attend the 2019 Athletic Training SummerCamp. This camp is for high school students and is intended toteach basic athletic training skills. The focus will be on anatomyand injury prevention techniques as they relate to athletics. Thiswill be reinforced through a dynamic anatomy overview and a“classroom to the clinic” approach.

The camp will include both lectures and group discussions.Interactive lab sessions in the Ohio Stadium Recruit Room will beused to complement the lectures and allow you to practice taping,splinting, bracing and specific exercises. Additionally, you willpractice on-field skills inside Ohio Stadium, right on the field! Thegoals for this workshop are to give you insight into the field ofathletic training and to assist you with basic skills that will allowyou to gain more experience about the exciting health care field of Athletic Training.

The Ohio State University Athletic Training staff will facilitate alllectures, discussions and labs. This format will allow for directcontact with fulltime Division I Certified Athletic Trainers.

It is not permissible for boosters to provide expenses for individuals to attend any camps by the Ohio State Department of Athletics. Expenses include but are not limited to: lodging, meals, transportation, and/or camp registration fees.
