Dewey Decimal Number for non-fiction books

Fiction books: Listed by “FIC” and 1st three letters of author’s last name

On the Shelves• If you're having trouble

finding your book on the shelf,remember this rule forhow the books are shelved:

left-to-right, top-to-bottom

• That means you start at the left on the top shelfand move to the rightuntil the shelf ends.
