Paul has spent more than 30 years in the meetings and convention industry. He has extensive experience in advising and managing complex destination associations, including the Vancouver Convention and Visitors Bureau and the BestCities Global Alliance. He has served on numerous convention industry boards, as well as with business and community boards.

Prior to joining GainingEdge in 2009, Jane served for 8 years as Regional Director Asia Pacific for the International Congress & Convention Association – ICCA. She has served two terms (2014-2017) as Deputy Chair of ICCA Asia Pacific Chapter and is co-author to two UNWTO publications on the Asia Meetings Industry (2012, 2017).

Gary founded of GainingEdge in 2004. He has over 30 years’ experience in the destinations and association industry and has consulted on over 100 projects in all parts of the world. In addition, he has served on numerous industry boards.

He is strategic consultant to and a co-founder of the African Society of Association Executives (AfSAE), a co-founder of the BestCities Global Alliance and a co-founder of the Tourism Association of New Mexico (USA). Gary has served as moderator of the ICCA Association Experts Seminar for 14 years and has consulted governments in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Africa in creating association development programs.

CHLOÉ MENHINICKPartner Association Consulting

Chloé worked at the International Water Association for 14 years where she was responsible for developing and executing a global growth and engagement strategy for a network of 60,000+ members including national members, corporates, universities, and individuals. Her professional experience includes international management and leadership, membership, retention and growth, change management, strategic planning, organisational communications, digital engagement, awards and events, committee management, programme development, internal communications and brand management.

In addition to sitting on various advisory bodies, expert and programme committees, Chloé is a Board Member of the European Society of Association Executives (ESAE) where she also chairs the Communications and Membership Committee.

She is a frequent speaker at industry events on issues pertaining to membership, communications and the future of associations at industry events. She also regularly contributes to industry magazines where she provides thought leadership perspectives. Chloé is a nominated Active Member of the Union of International Associations (UIA).
