Havingsecuredplanningconsentforthesite,thedeveloperappointedLocogentocompleteAssetManagementservicesfortheprojectduringitsoperationalstage.SincetheEPCcontractor’stwo-yearwarrantyendedin2015,LocogenhavealsobeencompletingfullOperationandMaintenanceservices for the site.

ThedeveloperapproachedLocogeninearly2012toundertakeadetailed
feasibilitystudyonanumberofpotentialsolarfarmsites.Locogenthen
tookthepreferredsiteforwardtosecureplanningpermission,andwas
appointedtocompleteAssetManagementfortheprojectonceitwasfully
commissioned.
ForthefirsttwoyearsLocogencarriedoutdailyperformanceanalysisand
oversawalloperationaladministrationandregulatorycomplianceforthe
development,providingtheclientwithdetailedquarterlyupdatereports.
LocogenalsoactedaskeycontactwiththeEPCContractortomanageany
servicingandmaintenancerequirements.
AftertheEPCContractor’swarrantyended,Locogentookoverthefull
OperationandMaintenanceservicesforthesite,andnowcomplete
regular site visits to carry out visual inspections. health-checks and testing
ofthesystem,includingpanels,mountingsystems,AC/DCtestingandHV
(HighVoltage)maintenance.Locogenalsoundertakepanelcleaning,
groundsmaintenanceandpestcontrol,andcheckhealthandsafety
signageandperimeterfencing/security.
