I n December of 1986 and J a n u a r y of 1 9 8 7 , a g e o p h y s i c a l s u r v e y

c o n s i s t i n g of m a g n e t o m e t e r a n d VLF-EM w a s c o n d u c t e d o v e r

d e s i g n a t e d p o r t i o n s of t h e p r o p e r t y .

' T h e e q u i p m e n t u s e d i n t h e s u r v e y was a S c i n t r e x MF-1 F l u x - g a t e

m a g n e t o m e t e r wh ich m e a s u r e s t h e v e r t i c a l component, o € t h e e a r t h ' s

m a g n e t i c f i e l d . The c l o s e d l o o p method w a s u s e d t o c o r r e c t f o r

d i u r n a l v a r i a t i o n s i n t h e e a r t h ' s m a g n e t i c f i e l d . A S a b e r Model
