We have a selection of beautiful handcrafted gifts, from smart leather bags to pretty cosmetic pouches,

and elegant jewellery to lovely cards for all occasions. If it’s something designer she may like, we have

from Rococo and Biscuiteers. The experiences we offer are plentiful, like a beautician who can be at

a wealth of big names to choose from, from cosmetics by Cowshed or Miller Harris to delicious treats

her door in an hour’s notice, or the opportunity to design her own shoes. Or if you can’t settle on just

one gift, we have an exquisite range of hampers and exciting subscription boxes that will keep her

feeling happy and loved for months on end.

AskHerFriends focuses on the recipient, which gives us a lot offlexibility about how we can serve our customers. This meanswe can bring to their attention a wider range of products andservices than a simple product-focused marketplace would beable to. In addition, as we are a broad-based seller, ourselection or gift vouchers can be easily used as rewards forccustomers or subscribers in a wide variety of circumstances,particularly if the customer is a woman, or in a gift-buyingframe of mind.

The next few pages show many examples of how we have beenable to work with partners, both onsite and offsite, and the range of reciprocal activities include:

Pudding Lane

Lucy at Pudding Lane is a food blogger who contributed

to our Plate Pledge Campaign, and has since worked with

AskHerFriends to develop content. She has developed

recipes for us using gifts that are available on the site,

for example Benson’s Totally Fruity Juice.

Tokens Of Affection

We ran a Twitter competition alongside Mumsnet, in whichwe encouraged people to share the nice things they haddone for one another. Using the hashtag #tokensofaffection,competitors had to upload photos of the random acts ofkindness they had received from either loved ones orsstrangers, reinforcing our brand ethos that a gift doesn’thave to be of monetary value. We received over 1000 entries.

The Crafty Campaign

After the success of the Plate Pledge Campaign we

launched a similar project with a selection of craft bloggers,

in support of the Honeypot Children’s Charity, who use

craft as a form of respite for underage carers.

This is an on-going campaign.

3460 Miles

3460 Miles is a weekly subscription newsletter,

created by and for individuals who live and commute

between London and New York. We have collaborated

for our drinks and party portal, ‘Tipple and Bash’, to

use their content as a launch pad for our own – we create

aa detailed review of the best London bar and restaurant

locations as identified by them.

We have contributed articles and interviews to anumber of both print and web based publications,including PA Life Magazine, 20 Something Londonand Moo.com.

Competitions and Offers

We have worked with a number of large brands,such as Latest in Beauty and Popband, to run competitions across various social media platforms,and have offered vouchers to their customers.
