It is my great pleasure to hold the third ASAR Educational Lecture Course in Singapore. Education is one of the most important duties of ASAR and the success of this third course will be a momentum to strengthen the role of ASAR’s Educational Lecture Course. Similar to the first course in Jakarta and the second course in Changchun, this course will be a practical, easy to learn, case-based lecture course and I believe that every participant will be satisfied with the course. I would like to appreciate efforts of Professor Cher Heng Tan, Chair of Educational Committee of ASAR, to prepare for another successful educational course of ASAR.

We are proud to share that following the success of the first two Educational Lecture Courses in Jakarta followed by Changchun, the Asian Society of Abdominal Radiology will conduct its third course in Singapore on 12th May (Saturday) 2018. As before, the purpose of this course is to deliver a comprehensive educational lecture series that covers broadly areas of abdominal radiology with young Asian radiologists in mind.The theme for this course will be “Oncologic Abdominal Imaging” and the lectures will be delivered in a case-based, question-and-answer format by renowned Asian radiologists. The course shall consist of around 18 lectures by 13 lecturers, including special morning and luncheon seminars. As part of the registration for the event, participants will be able to attend other sessions within the Annual Scientific Meeting of the Singapore Radiological Society and College of Radiologists, Singapore (11-13th May 2018), where focus sessions on prostate and HCC imaging, as well as other subspecialty tracks will be covered.Besides learning from a broad abdominal imaging syllabus, we hope that our attendees will make new friends from among the participants and speakers alike. We sincerely look forward to your participation!

This lecture course is designed to be broad based and topical driven, covering all aspects of abdominal radiology. The contents which are deliberately curated will be delivered by renowned and experienced Asian abdominal radiologists. We strive to deliver the same good quality educational contents which had been well received in previous editions of the lecture courses in Jakarta, Indonesia and Changchun, China.In addition, we are happy to announce that the lecture course is hosted in conjunction with the annual scientific meeting of the Singapore Radiological Society and Singapore College of Radiology. This will provide a synergistic educational and networking platform for all our participants. We hope to see you in Singapore!
