It is my great pleasure to hold the second ASAR Educational Lecture Course in Changchun, China. Education is one of the most important duties of ASAR and the success of this second course will be a strong basis to make ASAR’s Educational Lecture Course a sustainable program. Same as the first course in Jakarta, this course will be a practical, easy to learn, case-based lecture course and I believe that every participant will be satisfied with the course.I would like to appreciate efforts of Professor Hiromu Mori (Immediate Past President) and Professor Manabu Minami (Prior Chair of Educational Committee), and Professor Cher Heng Tan (Current Chair of Educational Committee) to make the first course in Jakarta a great success and to prepare the second course to be another successful one. Also I would like to thank Professor Changhong Liang (Vice Chairman, CSR), Professor Bin Song (President of CSAR), and Professor Huimao Zhang (Local Organizing Committee Chair) for hosting this important event in Changchun, China. We are proud to share that following the success of the first Educational Lecture Course in Jakarta, the Asian Society of Abdominal Radiology will conduct the second course in Jilin, Changchun in 2017. As before, the purpose of this course is to deliver a comprehensive educational lecture series that covers practically all areas of abdominal radiology with young Asian radiologists in mind.In line with our standard format, most lectures will be delivered in a case-based, question-and-answer format by renowned Asian radiologists. The course shall consist of around 30 lectures of 30 minutes, including special morning and luncheon seminars. Besides learning from a broad abdominal imaging syllabus, we hope that our attendees will make new friends from among the participants and speakers alike. We sincerely look forward to your participation!
