• Adopted by the ASEAN Ministers responsible forthe environment at the 12th Meeting of theConference of the Parties to the ASEANAgreement on Transboundary Haze Pollution(COP‐12 AATHP) on 11 August 2016 in KualaLumpur, Malaysia.

• Noted by the ASEAN Leaders at the 28th and 29thASEAN Summits on 6 September 2016 inVientiane, Lao PDR.

• An action‐oriented and time‐bound frameworkfor ASEAN Member States to achieve the visionof Haze‐Free ASEAN by 2020.
