When you are richly blessed by God, theenemy will not be happy. He will rise up

against you. This is precisely what hedid to King Jehoshaphat in 2 Chronicles

Chapter 20.

3 THINGS KING JEHOSHAPHATDID TO DEFEAT THE ENEMY :

1. Set himself to seek the LORD.(v.3)

2. Proclaimed a fast throughout Judah(v.3)

3. They offered ascending praise toGod. (v.19, 22)

The only entity on earth with power tobreak strongholds of Satan is the Church.

The Spirit of the LORD is calling us to a newdimension of worship. God is releasing a soundfrom heaven.

When we praise God, an extension of theKingdom of God in heaven reaches down

to earth.

This is the reason the enemy want tosuppress praise of Gods people.

The enemy will try to do his best tosilence our praise in order to defeat us.

Satan will always try to take away yourpraise and silence you.

Praise brings down the power and thepresence of God. Its a major weapon

against Satan.

The Law of Gravity pictures the worksof Satan on earth. It will hold you down

to the ground.

The Law of the Lift. Pictures the power

of ascending praise that will lift you upto the throne room of God.

WHY IS PRAISE IMPORTANT?

1. Judah shall go up first . Judges 1:1-2

2. Judah as the Breaker. Micah 2:12-13

3. Judah leads Israel in the wilderness.Numbers 2:3

4. Judah also lead in the conquest ofCanaan.

God demands praise from His peoplein the midst of trials; great difficulty;

great sickness; demonic oppressionsand temptation. This is in line with theprinciple of praise.

It is through PRAISE that God

will manifest His authority andrule on earth.

RESULTS OF ASCENDINGPRAISE

1. Season of Deep Corporate Worship.(v.4)

2. Season of Intense Prayer. (v.5-12)

3. Season of Total Dependence onGod. (v.12)

enemy.It took three (3) days for Jehoshaphatand the entire Judah to gather the spoilsof war composed of goods, garment andvaluable things.
