+ STRUCTURAL CONCEPT The overall constructural concept of the design is to keep original mass solid brick constructed walls and exterior as a shell, whilst demolishing and rebuilding the interior and changing some of the original exterior. Timber frame construction is the main new construction being used. Timber was also used as a flooring system, where the original floor was built over. However, in sections of the building new concrete stumps were used to replace timber stumps, as a major support system instead of a typical slab

Currently, the front face of original figure is standing, however, the plans illustrate the removal of some existing windows, New windows installed into some existing gaps, new entrance change, and an added balcony.
