• Foreground and Background- Things in the foreground are larger than those in the background. • Things are painted to appear sharper the closer they
are and hazy the further away something is.• Diagonal and parallel lines are used to give depth. • Shadowing is used to create the look of wrinkles,
curves, or depth.
