When you think of oak, you think of ESCO. The originally Dutch company has been established in 1906 in the heart of Europe: the Czech Republic. Well, the total process from tree to end product is possible thanks to their own lumber mill. And its founders aren’t strangers either. The Thonet brothers probably do ring a bell.

It is clear that both companies share the same corporate values and complement each other. By integrating Esco in the Decospan group, the common interests continue to be represented. Both companies are proud of this new collaboration which brings new possibilities and continues to invest in Czech quality parquet flooring. Showroom samples can give an example of the product’s appearance but they may not be representative of the full range of colour, texture end grain variations which can occur in the product itself after the fuming process. As a result, a sample can only indicate a 1-m2 reference of your new Cabbani Bohemia floor.

Just as you take the time to choose the right parquet floor, Cabbani Bohemia also needs its time to settle. Fuming floors causes a natural reaction of the ingredients present in the wood. Fuming oak is a lesser-known yet popular technique to finish wooden floors. In the smoking cabin, the natural tannins present in the wood react in a special way: the grain pattern becomes more visible and the raw plank gets a darker colour. As the amount of tannic acid varies in every piece of wood, each board will have a unique appearance with naturally-occurring variations in colour, texture and grain pattern. Le fumage du chêne est un moyen moins connu mais populaire de traiter les planchers en bois. Les tanins naturels de la planche réagissent de manière particulière dans une cabine à fumage. Le dessin du grain devient plus visible et le bois brut prend une couleur plus foncée. Roken van eikenhout is een minder gekende maar toch populaire manier om houten vloeren te behandelen. In een speciale rookcabine reageren de natuurlijke looizuren uit de plank op een bijzondere wijze. De nerftekening wordt zichtbaarder en het ruwe hout krijgt een donkerdere kleur. Doordat de hoeveelheid looizuur in iedere plank varieert, zal ook elke plank een eigen look en kleurschakering verkrijgen. The oil we apply to our floors contains natural pigments and oils that may only be treated with our Cabbani maintenance and cleaning products.For daily maintenance and long-lasting protection of your oiled floor, it is best to use a soft broom or vacuum cleaner, followed by cleaning with ‘Cabbani parquet soap’. To thoroughly refresh a dulled parquet and bring back its silky lustre, it is best to use ‘Cabbani maintenance oil’ in concentrated form. If your floor looks dull due to trodden-in and caked-on dirt, ‘Cabbani intensive cleaner’ is the solution. This provides a deep cleaning that also removes some oil, which is why it is necessary to treat with ‘Cabbani maintenance oil’ in concentrated form afterward. If you have underfloor heating, ‘Cabbani maintenance oil’ must be applied at least twice per year to nourish the wood adequately.

L’huile que nous appliquons sur nos sols contient des pigments et huiles naturels qui ne peuvent être traités qu’avec nos produits de nettoyage et d’entretien Cabbani. Pour l’entretien quotidien et une protection durable de votre sol huilé, l’idéal est d’utiliser un balai brosse à poils doux ou un aspirateur, puis de nettoyer avec le savon pour parquet Cabbani. Pour rafraîchir votre parquet devenu terne, et lui redonner tout son éclat soyeux, nous préconisons l’utilisation d’huile d’entretien Cabbani en concentré. Si votre sol est mat dû à la saleté imprégnée par un passage intense, la solution consiste à utiliser le nettoyant intensif Cabbani. Il s’agit alors d’un nettoyage en profondeur qui élimine aussi un peu d’huile. C’est pourquoi, ensuite, il est nécessaire de retraiter le sol avec l’huile d’entretien Cabbani en concentré. S’il y a un chauffage au sol, il faut appliquer l’huile d’entretien Cabbani au moins deux fois par an pour nourrir le bois suffisamment.

Indien uw vloer mat oogt door ingelopen en vastgekoekt vuil, biedt ‘Cabbani intensief reiniger’ de oplossing. Het gaat hier om een dieptereiniging waarbij ook wat olie wordt weggenomen. Daarom is het nodig om achteraf nogmaals te behandelen met ‘Cabbani onderhoudsolie’ in geconcentreerde vorm. In geval van vloerverwarming dient de ‘Cabbani onderhoudsolie’ minstens tweemaal per jaar aangebracht worden om het hout voldoende te voeden.
