A.I. – EVOLUTION OR REVOLUTION

• How does one define AI• To some its Predictive Modelling to see behaviours they’ve never witnessed• To others its automating processes that are otherwise manual• To most its anything NEW that has a ‘coolness’ factor to it!

• 9B invested in the ‘AI’ industry, but can you really call a company who provides a software with analytical capabilities with embedded ‘Machine Learning’ an AI company?

• Because at the end of the day, you as an individual are still optimizing and course correcting the model. The machine isn’t doing it on its own except taking instruction

from you on what isn’t working

• There’s an entire Wikipedia Page dedicated to “AI Movies” spans from 1927 to 2017• First AI movie was a German Film called ‘Metropolis’, it was about a robots and humans co-existing…this was 1927, we’re 90 years past, have we accomplished this
