Artifacts for UWRT 1102 Edward Jenkins Process Work Artifacts The first piece of process work that I can use as an artifact is when discussing my 3 Column Notes Assignment. Before the finalized draft I didn’t have any color coding, and I feel like this addition adds quite a bit to help establish the links between all of the sources. This is what the Three 3 column Notes looked like before and after . The next artifact for process work would be the way I changed the e-Portfolio website. Not only are the links present in the pieces of writing, but I also embedded the videos next to the writing. To make the videos easy to access and link directly to the words. I also changed the background to make it more appealing and the writing easier to see. I also changed the menu selection to a vertical menu, now it’s much easier to navigate, I include the blogs as well as a link to the FPE page on the home page for more visibility. I added a blue background behind the blog posts as well, makes them much easier to read on the front page.

Process Work Artifacts The first piece of process work that I can use as an artifact is when discussing my 3 Column Notes Assignment. Before the finalized draft I didnt have any color coding, and I feel like this addition adds quite a bit to help establish the links between all of the sources. This is what the Three 3 column Notes looked like before and after.

The next artifact for process work would be the way I changed the e-Portfolio website. Not only are the links present in the pieces of writing, but I also embedded the videos next to the writing. To make the videos easy to access and link directly to the words. I also changed the background to make it more appealing and the writing easier to see. I also changed the menu selection to a vertical menu, now its much easier to navigate, I include the blogs as well as a link to the FPE page on the home page for more visibility. I added a blue background behind the blog posts as well, makes them much easier to read on the front page.

The third process work artifact is shown in my Traditional Research Paper. As I changed the way the links worked, I added hyperlinks instead. Making the essay flow much smoother and the links are a lot to more appealing to see. I also changed the format of the photos several times, and I added some sources much later on in the drafting process. Such as the David Sackman video, at the end of the paper. Also the Traditional Research Paper page on my website has the appropriate videos embedded below the paper. BAM!

The fourth process work artifact is the revision I made to blog post 3 as requested. Which specifies where I plan to find the sources, they are also on the Bibliography.

Feedback Artifacts The first feedback artifact is the feedback that I received in the group-teacher conference, I used the information of people enjoying the links to the videos and the photos, but the placement on the bottom of the paper was insufficient. I also needed to properly cite the photos. Now the photos are cited and the photos have been moved in with the rest of my writing. Here is the citations, and here is the photos mixed in with the paper. Whereas before they were below and they lacked citations.

The second Feedback artifact is when I provided feedback on Thachers Blog Post 1. I mentioned each of his topics and helped him ponder between the 3 inquires. I also find it interesting that he and I both agree on the answer to the second question.

Wild Card Artifacts The first wild card artifact is a blog called Rhetoric for the Masses, which I wrote in UWRT 1101. I believe this directly applies to how I used rhetoric (especially logos) in my assignments for UWRT 1102. The blog post can be found here: http://epjbigdog.wix.com/scottsuwrtsite#!Rhetoric-For-The-Masses/ck61/8C288FFD-70D6-4E51-B58B-E7B5B07FA0C2Not to mention there is also a Key Concept for this class that is Rhetorical Awareness. The second wild card artifact is also an instance from UWRT 1102 in which we read this passage by Richard Straub called Responding, Really Responding http://spalding.pbworks.com/f/Straub_Responding.pdf I used what I learned from this quite a bit in the process of me providing feedback to others. I find that this handout was really helpful for getting other people to really understand the purpose of peer review. Writers Notebook Artifacts Among the notes on my laptop I found a perfect Writers Notebook artifact, and this is the paper with my questions for the librarian on them. This also reminds me of the time that I found the Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything) that included on Oculus Rift game developer. The library trip really helped me nail down the evidence on my case for the past of VR how it relates to the present. Without this artifact the papers would look completely different. Here is the paper with the questions on it. A second Writers Notebook artifact I found is the Outline I made for my traditional research paper. As a writer I have always made outlies in this fashion, and I personally find them to be a very helpful element to my writing process that is created in my Notebook. Here is where the outline can be found
