Participating Artists: Bhim Malhotra

Kumar Singha

Manas Ranjan Jena

Pijush Kanti Bera

Ranjeet Singh

Rajiv Ranjan

“The empathy of these art composers enrich the nuances of whatever they observe directly or via the cogitating consciousness. Such psychic quality is seen in the compositions of the meditative, Rajiv Ranjan, as in the richly decorative mudras of Manas Ranjan Jena, in the feminine coy beauty of Kumar Singha and Pijush Kanti Bera, and in the moving workings of Ranjeet Singh, dwelling compassionately on the waifs floating for survival in the big cities of India. Artist Bhim Malhotra presents not figurative but the innocence of pristine nature feelingly. None of these painters are imitative of each other. Each appears linked to his own stream of thought. The exhibition curated by artist Ruki Chatterjee - trained in Vienna surely proves her concern for art and the life of mind”

- Keshav Malik
