Rules for Drawing a Face

Although every face is unique we all sharethe same basic features and proportions.

Drawing a realistic face is not as difficult

as it might first seem, if you know theproportions.

Having a set of steps or rules to follow canmake any complicated task much simpler.

How to Draw a Face: Step 1

The shape of thehead is a circle

with a U shapeat the bottom

Draw a horizontal linethrough the middleof the head, this iswhere the eyes go.

Draw a vertical line

down the center ofthe head, this iswhere the nosegoes.
