The ARN MentorNet Community provides junior women STEM faculty with access to mentors who are senior STEM faculty at partner institutions.

MentorNet is a secure, online mentoring service designed for

guided, virtual mentorships.

Mentee and mentors confidentiality is strongly protected.

ARN MentorNet is mentee-driven Mentees select and invite recommended mentors

ARN mentees and mentors cannot be from the same institution

to enhance confidentiality and tap into skills and experience that may not be available at “home” institution

Matched pairs have access to on-line training

Mentoring topics address issues faced by junior women STEM faculty

Mentorships are one-to-one May last up to 3 months or longer with if both parties agree

Mentees may have multiple mentors from different partner institutions

MentorNet mentors report sense of fulfillment and improved management and mentoring skills
