Browser settings

◆ Before you log in SAP Ariba products, you are required to set the

permission to access cookies from “ariba.com” on the “privacy

settings” of your browser.

Network environment

◆ Any environment that enables access to the Internet

* It is unnecessary to prepare special software, etc.

E-mail receipt environment

◆ Any environment that enables receipt of e-mails from the

domains below:

* Check if settings allow you to receive e-mails in HTML format.

* Pay attention that e-mails are not misclassified as spam.

Procedures for Registration of Ariba Network(1) Trading Relationship Request (TRR) E-Mail

Sender: NTT DATA <[email protected]>

Subject: “Action Requested: Accept Trading Relationship Request from NTT DATA for Transacting on the Ariba

Network”

When you click the “Accept your customer's

trading relationship request,” a registration

start screen appears.

Matters to note:

If you do not receive the invitation e-mail,

check if the e-mail is misclassified as spam in

an e-mail box.

Procedures for Registration of Ariba Network(3) Entry of Company Information


Check the name/e-mail address you

entered.

・Generally, an e-mail address of an account

administrator is used as a username. This

information is used as a username for logging in

Ariba Network.

・It is necessary to specify the text string of

numbers and alphabets (at least eight characters).

Read the “Terms of Use” and the “SAP Ariba Privacy

Statement.” If you consent to their content, checkmark a

box and then click the “Register” button. This consent is

an alternative to a contract with your company.

Click the “Complete my

Company Profile later.”

This indicator shows 15% of profile

completeness. However, it is no problem

for transactions with NTT DATA.

Network,” the Ariba Network

Home Screen appears. After completing the account

registration process, you receive a

registration completion e-mail from

“Ariba Commerce Cloud.” Please store

Settings for Notice email (Required)


Setting for order notice email

①Access to the URL → http://supplier.ariba.com②Enter the “User Name” and the “Password” and log into Ariba③When successfully logging in, click the upper-right “Accounting Settings” icon on Ariba home screen.④Click “Setting” then “Electronic Order Routing” in the submenu.

• Select “Email” in the “Routing method”

• Administrator’s email address is set as default in the “Email address” column. If you would like to add other person, you can register up to three email addresses separated by commas.

• Regarding the other “Routing Method”, there is no need to make setting because the other “Routing Method” are same as first line.

⇒A notification e-mail will be sent with the order data in cXML format attached.

⇒A order data is described in the body of a notice email, and the notice email is sent with the order data attached in htm format.




➢ Leave attachments online and do not include them with email message. This applies to all orders with attachments that have the routing method "Same as new catalog orders without attachments".

⇒If there is an attached file such as Word in the order itself, the information of the attached file will not be passed to the notification email. (It is necessary to log in Ariba.)




➢ Attach PDF document in the email message

⇒A notification e-mail will be sent with the order data in PDF format attached.



② Scroll to the bottom of the screen and make settings for [Notification].• Here, set the notification email address when a special event occurs, such as when the

order cannot be delivered.• Only when checked, you will be notified.• Click "Save" at the top or bottom of the screen, and when “Your profile has been

successfully updated" is displayed, click the "Close" button to return to the AribaNetwork home screen.

• Note : Do not change the routing method from [Online].

• Be sure to check "Invoice Failure". You can register up to three email addresses separated by commas.

• Check “Invoice Status Change" and “Invoice Created Automatically" as necessary.

• Click "Save" at the top or bottom of the screen, and when " Your profile has been successfully updated" is displayed, click the "Close" button to return to the Ariba Network home screen.

• It is not necessary to update "Extended Profile Settings and Information".

Product and Service Categories

Information referenced by other buyer companies. Register a product or service that you think is relative.

By clicking the “Browse" link, on the " Browse" tab, it is possible to narrow down to the major category> middle category> minor category.（Regarding search tab, see the next page.）

Basic“Product and Service Categories, Ship-to or Service Locations, and Industries”

By registering “Product and Service Categories”, “Ship-to or Service Locations, and Industries”, there is a possibility that you will be able to start a business with a new buyer company by automatically matching the public invitation event posted by the buyer company which registered in the Ariba Network.

In the search tab, enter a keyword and click "Search".

*If there is no applicable, please search for different keyword.

If there is applicable in the “Search Results”, check the box and click “Add” button ,and then click “OK” at the lower right.

*You can select multiple items

Selection is completed when the screen return to the previous one and the the selected category is displayed in the line below the item.



If you want to change your company profile to public or private, please click "Profile Visibility Settings" from the menu on the right side in the screen.

How to change “Profile Visibility Settings” of company profile



If you want to keep your company profile private to buyers who use the Ariba Network other than the one you are currently dealing with, please check the box “Do not expose my company in search results on AribaDiscovery and Ariba Network”.

If you want to make it public, check the corresponding items as necessary and make the public settings.

How to change “Profile Visibility Settings” of company profile

After completing setting items, you click “OK" button at the top or bottom of the screen, to return to the “Company Profile" screen.

Click the “Save” button, and “Your profile has been successfully updated" is displayed, click the "Close" button to return to the AribaNetwork home screen.


Setting for Account-User Setting-


Account administrator (one person)

• A recipient of a Trading Relationship Request e-mail (invitation e-mail) shall be the account administrator in your company.

• The main roles of an account administrator are to set the followings:1. Company information (such as a company name and address)2. Management of users and roles3. Address for sending notice mails

• You can change an account administrator later.

• A user is a person in charge of orders and invoicing.

• Each user can have its own login ID and password.

• To enable users to receive order receipt notice e-mails, it is necessary to set notice e-mails.

Roles of an Account Administrator

⚫ If it is necessary to have several user IDs, a client can create additional users.

(1) Create rolesAn account administrator selects authorization required for tasks and creates roles.

(2) Create users and allocate rolesAn account administrator creates users and allocates roles required for tasks of each user.* A client can control authorization freely. Buyer companies will not control it.

User Setting -Create, Role, Authority①-

①Click the upper-right “Accounting Settings” icon on Ariba home screen.

②Click “Users” in the submenu.


Click “Create Role” in the Manage Roles tab.

Set the name of the Role. Description can be added if required.

Select the corresponding permission and click the ‘Save’ button.*the collaboration request related permission only appears after receiving the first collaboration request from Buyer.


Go to “Manage Users” tab then click on “Create User”

Enter the information of New User.・Username・Email Address・First Name・Last Name＊In principle, “Username” and “Email Address” will be same.


Select the Role you want to assign to this user, and click on Done.


Procedure of creating User and login of User

②Click the link to access Ariba Network.

④Enter the temporary password in the “Current Password”.Enter any password in "New Password" and press "Submit".You will success to login.Every time a user logs in, it must enter this ID (user name) and the “new password” to log in.

After registering Ariba Network, check the information stored on this site firstly.

On the “Supplier Information Portal,” you can see information specific to a customer and the materials and other information for account settings.

Click the account administrator’s icon at the top-right section on your Home tab. Go to ‘Settings’ then click on “Customer Relationships”

The link to the Supplier Information Portal appears on the right side of the corporate name of NTT DATA with which you have a trading relationship currently.
