  • LONDON EYE The London Eye is 135 meters high which means it was the world's tallest observation wheel when built in 1999. It has 32 capsules and carries around 10,000 visitors every day. The London Eye has become the most popular paid for UK visitor attraction, visited by over 3.5 million people a year. While traveling in complete safety you can see up to 40 kilometres away in all directions from each capsule.

  • BUCKINGHAM PALACE Buckingham Palace is the Queen's official London house. The palace was originally built in 1705 for the Duke of Buckingham. The Palace is located between The Green Park, Hyde Park and St. James's Park.

Madame Tussauds museums can be found in other countries as well. Each museum has a large collection of lifelike wax figures of well-known celebrities.

  • TOWER BRIDGE Tower Bridge is a bridge in London. It crosses the River Thames near the Tower of London. On June 30th, 1894, the Tower bridge was opened by King Edward VII. The design of the Tower Bridge was done by Horace Jones and Wolfe Barry, the bridge was built in the year 1894. The Tower Bridge has two big towers which are linked together. The bridge stands at a height of 60 meters and the height of each tower is about 43 meters. The middle part of the bridge can be lifted up when huge ships pass through. In the past, the bridge was lifted nearly 50 times per day.

  • BIG BEN Big Ben is the nickname of a bell that rings in the clock tower at the northern end of the Houses of Parliament in Westminster. The tower is called Elizabeth Tower but most people, as well as those that live in London, call the tower "Big Ben", because it is very large. It weighs 13 tons.
