TOUR INTRODUCTION

I am very excited to host this amazing tour to one of the most beautiful countries in the world. It has been on my bucket list for several years. The golf courses we have chosen are the best in the area and we have combined this with some beautiful hotels and some great sightseeing including a visit to the world-renowned Iguazu Falls.

Argentina is known for its food and wine so we will spend a day touring two of the best wineries in the Mendoza area and will have plenty of evenings enjoying fun times at some of the best restaurants in the country. I am told the steak is to die for!

I am sure Argentina is a country that your non-golfing partner will want to accompany you so we have built in some extraordinary day tours for them including a trip to the Andes Mountains.

The tour includes 6 games of golf as well as some day tours to the Wineries and the Iguazu Falls. If you have time before or after the tour we can help you with some additional destinations to make the most of your time in South America. ITINERARY

DAY 1: Monday 24th February 2020 - Arrival in Buenos Aires

Meet and Greet at the Airport and private transfer to your hotel. (We can help you with suitable flight options)

CHECK IN: 5* Sofitel Buenos Aires

Located in the sophisticated neighborhood of Recoleta, which is characterized by its neoclassical architecture, the hotel stands out in stark contrast thanks to its contemporary style and its imposing brick facade. This upscale hotel highlights the best of European heritage, inspired by its Argentine roots. Allow yourself to be amazed by this 5-star hotel's architecture, inspired by a utilitarian style, which will take you back in time to the 17th century, a testament to how such a universal material can be fashionable and retain its value over time.

Evening: Tonight we will enjoy a Tango Show with Dinner at Gala Tango Drinks are included.

DAY 2: Tuesday 25th February 2020 Breakfast and transfer to Olivos Golf Course

Ranked as the No 2 golf course in Argentina and 71st on the Golf Digest´s “Best Golf Courses Outside USA”.

The course currently has 27 holes and it’s considered one of the best in South America for its beauty, tight fairways and

fast greens. Olivos Golf has been host of international tournaments such as the Argentine Masters Tournament, with

previous winners such as Payne Stewart, Bernard Langher, Gary Player, Vijay Singh and Craig Stadler. Holes 12 and 13

may not be so hard but they will prepare you for the amazing 15th hole, one of the 2 holes in Argentina that are ranked

amongst the best 500 in the world.

EVENING: Tonight is free to enjoy the many fantastic restaurants in the city.

DAY 3: Wednesday 26th February 2020

Breakfast and transfer to Pilara Golf Club

This Is the first SIGNATURE golf course built by Jack Nicklaus Design in Latin America, laying over 76 hectares of beautiful land, this course of modern design has been perfectly adapted to the original field, achieving the goal of building a demanding course for scratches, but very enjoyable for average less experienced golfers.’’ This course hosted the Argentine Masters in Nov 2018.

Non golfers: Half day tour to Tigre - Boat and Land Excursion. Tigre is situated 32km North from Buenos Aires city. This riverside destination offers worthwhile attractions and it is the departing point to explore the Delta of the Paraná River, a very picturesque and charming place in Argentina. Puerto de Frutos, is one of the most attractive places to visit in Tigre city. It has an out-door Fruit & Craft Market where visitors can buy local produce such as jellies, liquors and preserves and crafts made of wicker, cane and wood.

DAY 4 - Thursday 27th February 2020 Breakfast and Transfer to the Buenos Aires GC.

Ranked 79th out of the “Best 100 Golf Courses Outside US” and top 2 in Buenos Aires, this course and its facilities will guarantee a great golf experience…that is of course if you are not afraid to get a little wet in all of the water hazards that line the fairways.” In its short 20 years of life, it has had the opportunity to be the host of the World Cup where many of the best golfers in the world took part of the event, including Tiger Woods and David Duval. The course also hosted the Argentine Masters a couple of times and the Amateur World Golf Cup.

Fly to Iguazu Falls

After golf, time for lunch and shower at the Club House, - transfer to the Airport. Flight to the Falls. (Departure 18,50hs - Arrival at 20.40hs - Flight is included in tour cost)

Meet and Greet at the airport by our guides & transfer to The Loi Suites Iguazu (4* Deluxe Hotel)

In the subtropical forest, just a 15-minute drive from Iguazu Falls, this luxury hotel features a spa, an outdoor pool and suspended bridges. Wi-Fi is free throughout the hotel. Loi Suites Iguazu Hotel has great facilities and décor. There is a sauna room and an outdoor pool with a deck area. It features top of the line architectural style, fully integrated with the impressive natural setting. The air-conditioned Loi Suites have parquet floors, pale olive hues and rich fabrics. They include cable TV and bathrooms with baths. Some rooms feature ample balconies with undisturbed jungle views. Naipi Restaurant offers local gourmet cuisine and views of the subtropical forest. Tiki Bar has light lunches with regional flavors.

DAY 5: Friday 28th February2020 Private tour to The Argentine side of the Falls + Grand Aventura Boat Ride.

Located on Iguazu river, which represents the frontier between Argentina and Brazil, the waterfalls are made up of about 160 to 270 falls, depending on the volume of water the river carries. They are higher, bigger and more beautiful than the Niagara Falls in the United States and the Victoria Falls in Africa.

The travelers can also see the waterfalls from below. The track leads among begonias, orchids, ferns and palms and one can see toucans, parrots and swifts and myriad of butterflies of all colors.

DAY 6: Saturday 29th Feb 2020

Breakfast and morning departure to Brazil - on the other side of the falls

Rebuilt & modernized in 2015 the course was renovated by Erik Larsen who was CEO of Arnold Palmer Company for more than 30 years. The course is quite varied, since it has short, long, straight holes and doglegs, both uphill and downhill. In general, the fairways are quite wide, but there are several bunkers strategically placed to make the golfer think twice!

After golf - time for lunch at the Club House -

In the afternoon half day tour to the Brazilian side of the Falls and return to the hotel in the evening.

DAY 7: Sunday 1st March 2020

Breakfast and transfer to the National Airport.

Flight to Mendoza (included)

Mendoza is the heart and soul of Argentina's wine country, where European settlers introduced the ancient craft of winemaking in the 19th century. Famous for the rich Malbec and sublime Cabernet, during your stay you will taste the best Argentine wines and play at two amazing and world class courses located at the foothills of the Andes.

Accommodation : Diplomatic Hotel in Mendoza (5* Hotel)

The Diplomatic Hotel is the highest hotel in Mendoza and its spacious rooms are characterized by panoramic views of the city and the imposing Andes Mountains.

It is located in the center of the city, around wine bars, shops and restaurants. In addition, 10 minutes away is the wonderful General San Martin Park, which can be reached on foot.

Guests have the exclusive concierge service, which provides advice on tourist attractions in Mendoza facilitating easy planning and booking of unforgettable experiences.

DAY 8: Monday 2nd March 2020 Breakfast and transfer to the amazing Tupungato Winelands GC

The most extreme course of Mendoza is located in one of the most magnificent valleys of Mendoza, at the foot of the Andes Mountain Range and with the Cordón del Plata and the Tupungato Hill as framework, stretches one of the most prestigious wine regions in Argentina: Uco Valley Its located at 1200 mts over sea level, surrounded by 60 hectares of dessert- like landscape, with magnificent views of the mountains and the 400 hectares of private vineyards. Design of holes is based on risk and reward strategies.

After golf, a private barbecue will be waiting for you. Wines Included. Return to the hotel in the afternoon.

Non Golfers: private 3 hour city tour.

Mendoza - one of the most interesting cities in all Argentina. It harmoniously blends the natural beauty of mountains, rivers and fertile grape - growing fields with beauty building and interesting architecture. We will visit Old City, where Mendoza was founded in 1561 by Don Pedro Del Castillo, where worked the government palace and a great part of Mendoza social life until 300 years later it was destroyed by an earthquake. Then we will continue visiting New City with its principal squares, Civic Area, this is now where is the Courthouse and the Government house, here is where the Los Andes flag is protected, guarded by the Regiment of the General Las Heras. Continuing the tour, we will see the General San Martin Park, where we can appreciate the beauty of it. We will ascend to the Gloria’s Hill to observe the impressive monument created in honor to the San Mar-tin’s Campaign

DAY 9: Tuesday 3rd March 2020 Breakfast and departure to enjoy a private experience with a chance to know, taste, and enjoy the finest wines in Mendoza, selected by Robert Parker (all of them more than 90 points).

We will visit two wineries: Catena Zapata and Séptima.

The first one is owned by the Catena Zapata family and it is known for Blending different varietals, different lots and even different vintages is an art as old as winemaking itself. In Bordeaux, the blending of the famous five - Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Malbec - is a centuries old art. Each component is thought to add a level of complexity to the wine.

Following lunch and wine at Catena winery we will depart to Septima Winery

Séptima Winery: In December 1999, the Codorníu Group realized its historic wish to be present in Argentina, with the purchase of 306 hectares of vineyards in the department of Luján de Cuyo, in the province of Mendoza, Argentina's wine-growing region by excellence. Some months later, in July 2000, the building of the wine cellar began. Today, Septima is a modern wine cellar, built following the traditional Mendoza system with vineyards planted in the shadow of the Andes

Return to the hotel in the afternoon.

DAY 10: Wednesday 4th March 2020 - Breakfast and transfer to Club de Campo Mendoza

Located in the region of Guaymallén, where there used to be a country house surrounded by lush olives and a privileged land, owned by Reboredo’s family. The golf course was officially opened April 2nd, 1974. The 18-holes course has been the stage of important events with players such as Eduardo Romero and Angel Cabrera. In spite of being a flat relief, its major difficulties are found around the greens. This wonderful scenery is full of trees and different kinds of pine trees, creating an amazing contrast with the green course and the Andes range. Non Golfers: Full Day High Mountain Tour.

Follow the footsteps of the Liberation Army and explore the impressive terrain of the world’s longest continental mountain range. This quintessential Andean tour experience will give you incredible views as you travel through the impressive Andes Mountains.

We will leave Mendoza City to head for the most picture-postcard villages and historical places in the mountain going through Villavicencio to Uspallata to continue along the international route between Mendoza and Chile.

DAY 11: Thursday 5th March 2020

Breakfast and transfer to the Airport.

Today is another chance to explore Buenos Aires, a charming city with a strong influence of most of the main

European cities. Beautiful walks, avenues, parks, monumental buildings, cafes, museums and churches gathered in 26 districts, each with its own distinct personality, gives it a truly cosmopolitan air.

The northern quarter resembles the most elegant areas of Paris, May Avenue and its innumerable cafes houses revives the flavor of Madrid’s Gran Via, the shady Belgrano streets recall the distinguished Londoners suburb, Naples seem to be present in the noisy and colored La Boca quarter…

In the evening a Presentation Dinner and drinks will be held at one of Buenos Aires best restaurants.

DAY 12: Friday March 6th, 2020 Breakfast and transfer to the Intl Airport - or optional extensions to The Glaciers or Patagonia Zone Lake Note re flights:

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Some of the times on this itinerary may change, but we will advise you of any changes as they are known. Travel, accommodation, transport and ticket providers (including Teed Up) change pricing and itineraries from time to time. Prior to you booking and paying for travel in full, all prices and itineraries in our brochure are subject to change at any time. If for some reason the price of the tour you book with us does increase from that stated in the booking form you complete and sign then the client has the right to cancel the tour and will receive a full refund of all monies paid as long as you advise us in writing within 14 days of being advised of the price rise.

DEPOSITS & CANCELLATIONS

Payments: AU$1000.00 per person non-refundable deposit is required to confirm a place on the tour. (Note: If minimum tour number if 8 is not met then the tour may be cancelled and you will received a full refund. Please do not book flights until tour dates have been confirmed)

The final balance is due 17th September 2019. No refunds are available after this date. The final payment will be for the full tour price in USD converted to AUD based on the best USD sell rate from the Major 4 banks as at 10.00am on 16th September 2019. The deposit paid will then be deducted from this to give the balance owing.
