PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE
Dear Staff, SMT, Parents, Learners
I want to thank most of our parents who showed a positive support in edu-
cation of your children at the beginning of this year, 2014, and also the
commitment showed by all staff and the SGB. The motto of our school is
"Etetsa serathana pele ka moso se go etetse".
Enjoy the short holiday with your children.
Mrs Meriam Nkosi, Principal
—————- Learning is Fun! —————-
Dr Eurika Jansen van Vuuren goes to Maraleng on Mondays to have fun sessions
with the grade 3’s. Aspects of Life Skills – which includes the Arts - are explored
whilst also aiming to improve English language skills. Music has a way of lifting
the spirit and the children’s happy expressions confirm the power of music. Dur-
ing our sessions we learn life skills and we become actively involved in acting,
dancing, singing and doing art. (see photo on p 2)

GRADE 1 Your Organization
This would be a good place to insert a
short paragraph about your organiza-
tion. It might include the purpose of
the organization, its mission, founding
date, and a brief history. You could also
include a brief list of the types of prod-
ucts, services, or programs your organi-
zation offers, the geographic area
covered (for example, western U.S. or
European markets), and a profile of the
types of customers or members served.
It would also be useful to include a
contact name for readers who want
more information about the organiza-
tion.
