A large US military base and one of the most secretive places in the world.

Location:- Situated in southern Nevada in Western United States nearby Groom Lake.

Also known by various names like Dreamland ,Groom Lake and Homey airport.

Area 51 shares a border with the Yucca Flat region of the Nevada Test Site (NTS).

NTS lies 105 km northwest of city Las Vegas.

Area 51 appears on the older maps of NTS but not on the newer ones.

Originally designed to be a safe place for the president and rest of US government to stay in during war times.

To withstand a nuclear attack as it is almost entirely underground.

To develop and test the most advanced aircraft projects and other technologies.

Security force patrol the perimeter of the base in white Jeep Cherokees.

Surveillance cameras, magnetic trip sensors, and optical sensors can be found guarding the base.

Anyone trying to trespass the military base will be shot dead.

There is no solid proof, but it is believed that at least 3major specific projects are being worked on at Area 51.They are:-

Aurora project.

Black Manta project.

Electrochromatic Technology project.

Aurora - a top-secret hypersonic spyplane considered to be faster than Mach10.

Uses Scramjet Engine that could take the aircraft into space.

It is believed the plane is piloted, and not manually controlled.

Black Manta is a supersonic spyplane based on Stealth Technology.

Stealth Technology- It makes the aircraft ideally invisible to radar ,infrared detection methods.

It can operate at almost any altitude in the atmosphere.

It is one of most rumored research projects.

Based on devices which could make things invisible, even human beings.

The devices could possibly display what lies on the other side of the material.

Useful for spying and tracing suspicious things.

The first supposed UFO sighting was on 25th June 1947 in Boise, Idaho (400 miles from Area 51 Nevada)and since then many UFOs have been spotted near the base. .

The most publicized and controversial UFO incident.

In 1947, an alien spacecraft was reported to have crashed in the vicinity of Roswell, New Mexico.

Residents claim to have discovered the scene, witnessing dead and injured aliens.

The US military publicly denied the scene. Rather they mentioned the crash as one of their classified programs.

But it is believed that the scientist have been running tests on the crashed aircraft and conducted operations on aliens at AREA 51.

An ordinary mailbox located on highway 375.

It is not a mailbox of area 51,but belongs to a local rancher.

Area around Black mailbox is a popular spot for UFO watchers.

People gather at night to search the skies for UFOs. It is no longer black. It’s replaced by a bullet proof white mailbox.

On July 14th, 2003, the Federal Government of US admitted that the Air Force has an "operating location" near the Groom lake, but does not provide any further information. The base is absent from Federal publications and inquiries to the government regarding the facility are rejected for reasons of national security.
