About the band

Area 11 began in Nottingham in 2010, and relocated to Bristol in 2012. Their sound is that of modern rock, and yet they do not hesitate to incorporate elements from other genres, cultures and time periods into their work.

They have released 2 albums (All the Lights in the Sky and Modern Synthesis) as well as a couple of EPs and many music Videos.

Even though their fanbase isn’t the largest in the world with having an average of 100,00n fans however they are some of the most loyal.

They have managed to complete 2 tours of the UK even with this smaller fanbase and even a couple of shows in Tokyo

They also have had a massive influence from anime from the first album including; Code Geass, Death Note, Naruto and Fullmetal Alchemist. However they wanted to explore new concepts for their new albums.
