Be honest, do you just want my money?

Nope. Nope. We want directors with knowledge, skill, ideas, and passion for improving the future of healthcare. Yes, we ask for a per-sonally significant financial contribution, but there is no fixed amount. We ARE a non-profit, but we’d rather have active board members who can help us identify new funding sounew funding sources than nickle and

dime our directors.

How much time does this require?

Thanks to the University Thanks to the University of Colorado Denver, we use ZOOM video conferencing for our Executive Committee Meetings (6/year) and for half of our Full Board Meetings (6/year). Meetings are typically less than 1.5 hours. Full board physical meetings will only take place 3 times per year, plus a full-day strstrategic planning session. Committee participation is required. Our committees include: Executive, Programs, Finance, Board Membership, and ad-hoc sub committees. On average, you should expect a time

committment of no more than 6 hours max per month.

What if I don’t know much about CCAHEC?

Do you have a passion Do you have a passion for nonprofits, healthcare, or education? If so, that is what we want! We connect students to careers, professionals to communities, and

communities to better health. We are a HRSA, University of Colorado and

public/private grant-funded nonprofit that prprovides educational programs to advance health careers. We also provide services to communities to improve health. Who wouldn’t want to be a part of that great mission? See ccahec.org for more info.
