The program of this project called for the redevelopment of an old railyard on the edge of Incisa into a mixed residentail and office zone for the commuter town. The area is integrated into the larger movement networks of the town and their presence is inscribed in the landscape as it brings together different speeds and durations of occupation. The program activity is structured by a system of layered elements.

The main building mass sits on three object-like volumes the house a gallery, bookstore and studio space. Within the field of the building mass, classroom volumes contrast with voided atria and communal areas organizing the space. The exterior faade wraps around the volume of these spaces and mediates with the rest of the campus.
