Learn about Virginia Lee Burton and the Folly Cove Designers, textile artists from Gloucester, Massachusetts, who were a national sensation in the 1950s and 60s.No charge--but please call to let us know you are coming. Saturday, April 11, 9:30 am to 4:30 pm Color Julia will touch briefly on all types of color knitting, but our in-class knitting will be intarsia. Youll leave class with yarn management techniques that will make this elusive form of knitting way more fun and accessible. And you will gain confidence in creating your own color combinations. Julia will demystify terms like hue and tone and help each student with creating a pleasing color combination for her or his knitted sample. Well have a complete color wheel selection of yarns from Classic Elite provided for your use in class.

Join in the fun of our 5th annual spring CEY KAL. The favorite small project so far is the Naushon scarf, done in brand new Santorini. a summer cotton rich ribbon yarn. The

favorite large project is Jarita, a short sleeve pullover done in Sandpiper, a marled tweed cotton yarn.

Projects need to be finished in time for the big
