Message from the Presidents of TiE Atlanta, TiE Tampa and TiE Carolinas
Dear Friends,
As TiE Atlanta celebrates its 16th year anniversary, we would like to thank you for participating in TiECON Southeast - the annual conference hosted by the TiE chapters in Atlanta, Tampa and the Carolinas. Titled “A day of Ideas for years of breakthrough success: Unleash your inner entrepreneur.”
The conference includes informative presentations, mentor round tables, angel & venture stage pitch sessions and a business plan competition for high school student and university entrepreneurs concluding with celebrations of entrepreneurial success.
TiE Atlanta is mentoring over 65 companies per year through our 5 pillar programs. We are all continually amazed by the dedication of our ecosystem. At TiE Atlanta, during the first 3 months of 2014, 30 TiE Atlanta Charter Members have mentored 19 companies and 50 individuals to their next steps and successes on their entrepreneurial journey through 25 events.
We are grateful to all the Charter Members and Mentors for their investment in time and energy to fostering entrepreneurship in our community.
Over the years, TiE has had a profound impact on entrepreneurship, wealth creation and giving back. The Atlanta chapter was founded in 1998 and over the years it has become a vibrant part of the TiE global ecosystem. Together with our Chapters in the Carolinas and Tampa, TiE is gaining tremendous visibility as the hub for entrepreneurial development in the Southeast.
TiECON Southeast brings investors, entrepreneurs, startups, students, service providers and corporate executives together. The conference provides a rich environment to showcase, network and learn. The conference celebrates the finalists and winner of the 2014 TiECON SE Awards which include 2014 Entrepreneur, Up & Coming Entrepreneur, Student Entrepreneur, Corporate Intrapreneur and Deal of the Year.
We are very proud of our team that has put together this outstanding program. A special thank you to our event Co-Chairs (Dinesh Raturi and Kris Gadde), our Members, Speakers, Sponsors, Charter Members, Award Nominees, Community Partners, Media Partners and our team of volunteers for their tireless support and commitment to making TiECON Southeast 2014 the best ever!
