Aleluya! Cristo ha Resucitado! Aleluya!

Juan Alonso, Joe Calderara, Chris Carlson, Leslie Carroll, Bárbara DeHaan, Katherine Fickle, Ashley Kernan, Doris Michaux, Rosa Melara, Frank Moran, Adam Wilgenbusch y Ashley Greba.

Alleluia! Christ is Risen! Alleluia!

Happy Easter everyone! Easter is the most

important religious holiday we celebrate as Christians.

It marks the Resurrection of Jesus Christ our Savior

who was born pure and free of sin; lived a sinless life

and willingly suffered and died on the cross to save us

sinners from eternal death that we may live life eternally

with Him in heaven! This is a joyful celebration for us!

Not only is He risen, but we receive the best gift of all

through His resurrection - the promise of eternal life in

paradise! Easter is a time of newness and re-birth! It is

the time of year that we each renew our baptism vows

and the time we receive new followers into the Catholic

Christian faith. Please join me in welcoming these

newest members into our faith and our parish life:

Please also join me in personally thanking the

sponsors of these new members for their Christian

dedication and good example:

Juan Alonso, Joe Calderara, Chris Carlson, Leslie

Carroll, Barbara DeHaan, Katherine Fickle, Ashley

Kernan, Doris Michaux, Rosa Melara, Frank Moran,

Adam Wilgenbusch and Ashley Greba.

May we all be good Christian examples during this

Easter Season and May God Bless you,

Fr. Fernando Molina Restrepo, Pastor.

Off to College this coming Fall? The Archdiocese of Atlanta has eight campus ministries that exist to help college student to grow in faith during their college years. Because of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) it has become increasingly difficult for some Catholic Campus ministries to obtain information from the schools about students religion affiliation, even when the question is asked on application forms, especially in secular colleges and universities. Please let the campus ministries know when students are coming their way so that they can reach out. It would help them know the prospective student’s name, e-mail, phone number, home address, parish, and college address, if known.

Link and phone number to most of our campus ministries are provided on the archdiocesan

website wwww.archatl.com Ministries> Campus>Ministries.

MONDAY EVENING BIBLE STUDY presents A BIBLICAL WALK THROUGH THE MASS, a DVD series with Dr. Edward Sri, beginning May 2 for 5 sessions at the Cathedral of Christ the King, 2699 Peachtree Road, Atlanta, in the Hyland Center Assembly Room. Sessions are Monday evenings at 7:00 PM. Based on the revised translation of the Mass that goes into effect in Advent 2011, this study explores the biblical roots of the words and gestures we experience in Mass and explains their profound significance. Registration fee is $30 (workbook included). Register ONLINE at www.cathedralofchristtheking.org/mass. For more info 404-267-3671 or email [email protected].

Very early in the morning after the Sabbath, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb to anoint Jesus’ body with precious oils. The reward of this good and conscientious steward was to be among the first to know that Jesus had been raised from the dead! Alleluia!

¡Aleluya
