Twenty Four Hours Monthly Kiirtana 2nd April, 2019 Monthly 24hours Akhanda Kiirtan held on 1st and 2nd April 2019 at Chatka village and local

village people also participated in Kiirtana. There was narayan seva after the Kiirtana. In this

village Acarya Asiimananda Avadhuta, Agro scientist along with four local margii brothers were

brutally killed on 2nd April 1990 by communist goons during their ruling period in West Bengal

State.

Official visit of Central Government Officers 3rd April, 2019 Indian Social Responsibility Network (ISRN) is conducting a Study “Documentation of Antyodaya

based Best Practices as Propounded by Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay” to collect as many stories as

possible of organizations/ individuals who are putting their heart and soul to make a difference

in the society by working towards the upliftment of the deprived sections. This study is supported

by Ministry of Culture, Government of India. ISRN will identify, document, analyze and compile

the select Antyodaya based best practices in the form of a report that will be published by Ministry

of Culture, Government of India, and disseminated widely through regional workshops among

NGOs, donors, government, corporate. The motive is to highlight the best practices adopted by

such unsung heroes and document them for future replication.

On receipt of a request through eMail and phone ISRN’s Delhi office, the Rector Master, Ananda

Nagar has submitted requisite information in their prescribed form to them on 13th February,

2019.

Subsequently their representatives (two persons) have made an official visit for inspection to

Ananda Nagar on 2nd and 3rd April. They are surprised seeing all-round activities at Ananda

Nagar and said they didn't find any other person or organisation who are doing such varieties

types work. They have seen our Primary School, High School, Hospital, Acupuncture Clinic,

Memorial Check Dam etc.

Page 3 Radhu Commemoration Day Observed 5th April, 2019

Radhu Saren was a popular leader among Santhal Society. He was against dogma and judicious

minded and also a social reformist. On 5th April, 1994 he was killed by the communist goons.

Today Radhu commemoration Day was observed at Damrughutu village. On this occasion three

hours Akhanda Kiirtana, collective meditation and narayan seva were done.

Ananda Nagar Whole Time Workers IRSS (Inspection Review Report Structural Solidarity) was

held at Girijananda dihi in Noahatu village, Ananda Nagar today. After this programme General

Secretary & General Finance Secretary of Ananda Marga Pracaraka Samgha inspected Women

College construction work at Uma Nivas.

Page 5 Job orientated Skill Training Camp

8th April, 2019

Today a Mobilisation Camp held at Ananda Nagar organised by Ananda Marga Pracaraka

Samgha for Job orientated Skill Training of one year Certificate course in CNC Turning & Milling

under Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India and Utkarsa Bangla of West Bengal

Government. After completion of the training, placements will be provided by the Training

Authority. Twenty three boys and seven girls have been selected. Training will be in Central Tool

Room and Training Centre, Kolkata

Two families came from Howrah for touring

Ananda Nagar on 8th April to 10th April. They

visited Asthi hill, Bansgah, Central Point of

Rarh, Central Jagriti, DMC Ground, Baba's

Memorial, Navacakra cave, Dead Volcano,

Oldest Jain Temple, Kapil and Ayodhya hill.

10th April, had attended Medical Camp at Abha Seeva Sadan Hospital.

1425 Bangla Varsa shes (1425 year ending) day celebrated at Jhalda on today. There were three

hours Akhanda Kiirtan, collective meditation and lunch done.

Training for Appearing Competitive Examination 14th & 15th April, 2019 The above training was held on 14th & 15th April 2019 at Ananda Marga College, Ananda Nagar

organised by Ac Devatmananda Avadhuta, College Administrator. There was 79 candidates

present from different villages of Ananda Nagar. The PSC (Public Services Commission)

consultant Shrii Anirvan Das from Kolkata gave three workshops to prepare for upcoming

competitive exam. The feedback from the trainees were inspiring and they requested for further

classes. Next coaching will be held in first week of June.

Volunteers Social Service (VSS) of Ananda Nagar.

Pracar work at Ekduar Village 28th April, 2019 There was Pracar programme today at Ekduar village (a Santhal Community village) of Ananda Nagar. There was three hours Akhanda Kiirtana, Tattva Sabha and mass feeding also done. Avadhutika Amanda Vratisha Acarya, Dasarath Tudu and Durga Prasad Saren have discussed on Amanda Marga Philosophy, Its spiritual and Social activities.

Page 12 Solar Panel for Power Generation Installed 29th April, 2019 Solar Panel has been installed on the roof of Rarh Museum and Ananda Rekha Bhavan today and Power generation started which will save Electric consumption from regular bills to a great extent.
