Baxley Children’s Home Event We are planning to have the Children form GBCH&FM Baxley Campus visit Dublin for an outing including a lunch meal at one of our restaurants, and games and fun afterward in the gym at JSBC. The date for this event is Thursday, April 9th. The children should arrive around 11:30 am. Please support this outing in prayer and finances. You can make donations to the LBA. I appreciate all the support that was given for the “Sermon On The Mount” event that we sponsored. It was an awesome event with an awesome turn out. We had several 100 people to come to the event, with numerous churches from out association supporting it and many that we not churched. It was awesome to see what Dr. Lew did with the horse in taming it. The visual of what was going on with the horse and how he shared the Gospel all during the event was great. It really mirrored what goes on in the lives of individuals as God deals with us. How we are rebellious and not wanting anything to do with God and how He keeps wooing us and loving us and dealing with us and little bit by little bit we begin to submit to Him and allow Him to do a work in our lives. What really spoke to me was at the end of the event, the horse that ran from Dr. Lew and did not want anything to do with him, now was following right behind in everywhere he went. Dr. Lew stated, that is how we are to be with our Heavenly Father, that we love Him so much and are so submissive to Him that we just want to be with Him all the time. I hope that all of you have a great Easter. Remember it is because of that first Easter that we have all Hope. It is because of the death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ that our sins can be forgiven and paid in full. Praise God for Jesus Christ and what He has done for us. As we celebrate Easter, let it be ALL ABOUT HIM. Pray for our mission trips this year. We have already had one to Dominican Republic. I am really excited about what God is doing there and how we all may be involved. We have numerous trips this year around the world, pray for safety and for God to be honored and glorified and for His will to be accomplished. In His Name Bobby

OF OUR NEW

CHURCH

PLANTS… It has been a while since we published an update from Dayspring Worship Center. Since our last post, we at DWC have merged with First Baptist church of East Dublin, and as always God has proven Himself faithful! The merged church is now operating as East Dublin Dayspring Worship Center. God has surely blessed us in ways that we could not even begin to imagine! Our worship times are Sunday school at 9:45, morning worship at 10:45, youth service on Sunday evenings at 5 and evening worship at 6. We meet on Wednesday evenings at 7 for our small group Bible Studies for all ages. We had our Annual Carol Brewer Memorial Feed as our first outreach project from the newly combined church! God blessed in that, and we were able to prepare and distribute 400 plates in East Dublin! We are thankful that God allowed us to share the gospel and His love with these people! The winter months have proven to be a little slower in the area of outreach as we are continuing the process of unifying and settling down as one body of believers. However, the spring and summer months are already beginning to fill with the many things we have planned to reach out to and love on the people of East Dublin. The Dublin Ministry Center is located at 300 N Calhoun St in Dublin. The center is open on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. The hours are 10am-2pm. The Bible Studies are on Tuesdays at 10:00am and Thursdays at 10:30am. The Cadwell Ministry Center is open on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays 9:00am - 1:00pm Bible Study is the 2nd & 4th Wednesday at 10am The Bible Studies are a real blessing!
