Application Overview
• Applicants can apply for a maximum of five courses (with the exception of Medicine where only 4 applications are allowed)
• UCAS guarantees invisibility of application
• The same application is received by all five universities at the same time
• All offers will be conditional and applicants need to get the right number of points
Course Selection
• For IB diploma students, the choice of course and university will be heavily influenced by predicted IB grades
• For IB certificate students, offers will be based on the UCAS tariff. It may be necessary to take a foundation year before beginning an undergraduate degree. Talk to your counselor.
• Detailed information about course requirements can be found on the UCAS website
Choosing the Right Course
• Applications should be linked to predicted grades
• Before making an application, research all your options thoroughly.
• Find a good fit for you and don’t be influenced by the choices of others.
• Will you choose a campus university or a city university?
• Get your strategy right. What is the highest number of points you can reach? Do you need a safe option?
