Assembling the Inside of the Bag:

You should now have 4 marked lines on each side as shown in the above diagram.

    4. Fold the piece in half lengthwise (short sides), RIGHT SIDES TOGETHER, matching the short raw edges and aligning the

marks you made on both sides and keeping the seam in the center.

From the top sew down to the first mark with a seam allowance backstitching when you start and when you reach

    the mark.

Start stitching again at the second mark to the third mark, again backstitching at the beginning and when you reach themark.

Stitch again from the fourth mark to the bottom of the piece backstitching when you start at the mark and when you

    reach the end.

Your top panel will now be a circle and you will have an opening to add the drawstring. Press open the seam you just

created and turn RIGHT SIDE OUT.

    5. Fold the piece in half with the center long seam now at the top of the piece. WRONG SIDES TOGETHER.

You will now have a piece that measures 3 with long seam at the top and the raw edges at the bottom with RIGHT

SIDES of the fabric on both the front and back of the band.

Topstitch all the way around the Piece (circle) at the fold (raw edges are the bottom and seam at the top) away from

    the top seam.

Now we will finish making the drawstring opening and make a stitch line to aid in folding up the raw edges to

on the bottom of the piece:

    6. With a removable fabric pen mark a line all the way round the piece 1 up from the bottom.

    Assembling and completing the bag:

    1. Take the completed interior bottom and place inside the completed exterior bottom WRONG SIDES TOGETHER;

    matching the top raw edges.

    2. Place the Top Band piece over the top raw edges of the bottom pieces in between the bottom edges you folded up

till the bottom pieces raw edges meet the bottom stitched line. Be sure that the drawstring opening seam is aligned with

the Exterior Side Panel seam so that you can connect the drawstring piece to the d-ring on the bottom.

You are enclosing the top raw edges of the bottom of the bag between the front and back folded edges at the

bottom of the top panel piece.

    3. Pin in place; placing the pins horizontally across the piece close to the bottom stitched line on the top panel so that

you do not make holes in your clear vinyl piece.

    4. Stitch around the assembled piece to attach the top panel to the bottom about above the bottom of the top panel

    For the Carry Strap:

    1. Thread the drawstring though the drawstring opening making sure to keep both ends even.

    2. Thread both pieces through the trigger snap side by side, making sure the pieces are not twisted and both lay flat

RIGHT SIDES UP after threading though the trigger snap.

Note: You can shorten the straps at this point for a custom length by simply pulling the raw ends up and cutting

    excess off.

    3. Make sure the end of the straps go past the D ring of the trigger snap by at least an inch. Fold back the ends of each

    to enclose the raw edges.

    4. Keep the strap pieces side by side and sew across both several times to secure to the trigger snap.

    5. Connect the trigger snap to the d-ring on bottom of bag to finish the carry straps.
