Module Objectives

Learners who successfully complete this module will: Identify soldering functions Remove and replace components on

printed circuit boards. Identify the different accessories needed

for soldering and desoldering. Assemble, solder and test the electronic

circuit using the developed PCB in the previous module

Soldering is used for: Providing mechanical support by

attaching various electrical components to PCBs

Providing electrical contact between the component leads and conducting paths on the PCBs.

De-soldering Functions
