Almost two-thirds of responders (62%) reported that their top priority in network management is solving network and application performance problems.
69% experience challenges with sufficient visibility into application response time.
Most responders rate their network performance management capabilities as merely “adequate” in all areas. Of particular concern is the ability to perform automated investigations into performance issues, on schedule or on demand - 37% rate their current capability in this area as inadequate.
Responders are looking to maximize use of existing infrastructure assets (65%) and optimize application performance (56%).
When asked about their buying intentions, 65% report that they are likely to invest in products that will enhance applications and response time analysis; 64% would invest in network traffic flow analysis
