ThehistoryofGERBdatesbackto1908.Thiswastheyearinthatitsfounder,WilliamGerb,becamefascinatedwiththeideaofusingsteel springsinordertoprotect workareasandsurroundingneighborhoodsfrommachineryvibrations.Subsequently,theinventionoftheViscodamper® com-pletedthemostefficientvibrationcontrol systems.
