Document Availability

The Document Details page includes important information about a document, including its availability.

If a document is immediately available, a Read button will appear below the document image. You may either click to open or right-click to save. If a document is not immediately available (seat not available, outside of your subscription, etc.) a message will appear regarding its availability. The availability message typically indicates how you may gain access to a document, such as submitting a building block request or contacting your Subscription Administrator.

If you are unsure who your Subscription Administrator is, you may View your Administrators from any help menu or from the Help Center.

Document History



In addition to the most recent version of a document (on the main panel of the Document Details screen) there are often historical versions of a document available on the left of the screen under History.

Although the most recent version is what most subscribers are seeking, there may be instances where you need to refer to a prior edition of a document or standard, which are displayed in chronological order. To view details of a historical version simply click on the name of the document.

Add to List

The Document Details page has a Lists section at the lower-left portion of your screen. This section displays the list(s) associated with your name/user id. If the list has a clear star next to it, the item you are viewing is not included in that list. To add the document to that list, simply click the star and it will change to a gold star and the document will be added. Likewise, if the star is gold you may click the star to remove the document from that list.
