Objectives - You are asked to design a new logo and stationery items.Create a new logo, not one that was used in the last project, then design abusiness card and letterhead.

Use Te basic tools o Illustrator & InDesign.Create a new logo to t a company or personal image.Design consistent layouts or a business card and letterhead. Use yournew logo to design two stationery items with consistent design

Programs/ ools Used: Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign.

Description: Te business card and letterhead projects are made or areal company owned by my dad, called New Beginning Home Improve-ment LLC.

Process: In Adobe Illustrator I used the shape tool to create a triangle,and then I copied my design twice arranging each triangle to overlapone another with their opacity levels low. Using the eyedropper tool, Icaptured the color shades o blue, yellow, and grey rom New Beginning

Home Improvements website. For the letterhead I placed the logo intoan InDesign document, and cropped it to the top right side o the pagewhere next to it I wrote the title o the company, and across rom thetitle the company employee email, address, and location in ormation.Between the title and body copy I drew a straight line using the pentool, and I reinserted my logo on the bottom o the page and loweredits opacity to 8% to create a watermark. For the business card project Ibrought my logo into Adobe InDesign onto two 3.5 x 2 boxes I drew withthe shape tool. I put the logo on the lef side o the rst box with the titleo the company next to it, and then I wrote the company address, email,and location in ormation on the right side o the box.

Description: I had to design a news ier or a ctional employerabout an leadership seminar or graduates.

Process: Afer I drew sketches o the designs I elt like the gradi-ent design was the most impressive. First, I used the shapes tooland made our small circles. I copied them and created anotherset o circles. I placed them on opposite corners o the page, andthen proceed to create a set o bars and copy them to make an-other set. Like the circles, I also but both sets o bars on oppositecorners o the page. I used the color tool and lled in the circlesblack and grey, while leaving the last one white. Tis made a gra-dient effect. I then proceeded to use the same gradient effect onthe bars. I then created a text box making it also a gradient color.For the title, I used the ont Modern 735 B and stacked eachword on top o one another like a stair case. I used the ont Ge-neva or the body copy and colored it white. I placed the VouantCommunications logo on the bottom lef corner aligning with theset circles on the opposite side o the page. I reversed the imageo the graduates so it looked as i the ow o the image was going

down, and put it next into the text box.
