"I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me will never hunger.” John 6:36
Dear Parents,
Mr. Ron Springer has served as our school’s faithful custodian for 25 years
and he will be retiring at the end of the school year. An Open House reception to
celebrate all his years of dedication to our students and school will be held in the
school gym on Tuesday, May 21 from 2:00-4:00pm. Please come enjoy some
refreshments and say farewell and thank you to Mr. Springer.
“Hey, Bill here - coming to tell you to mark your calendar for the
Annunciation Drama Club’s performance of SCHOOL HOUSE
ROCK on Friday, May 17 & Saturday, May 18 at 6:30pm in
the school gym. Come see Rocky and all your favorite characters at
this awesome performance!”
Today after mass, we announced the April Character Counts winners for exhibiting Caring
toward others. Congratulations to the following students:

Finally, one goal of this year’s Student Council was to make enough money to
construct a Gaga Pit. Not sure what that is…see the picture below for an example.
Gaga is a fun, fast paced, dodgeball-like game played inside an octagon-shaped pit. (Junior high
students who attend Camp Rock are big fans of gaga☺) Student Council has the money to purchase the
supplies needed for a pit, but they are looking for any volunteers to help with design and construction.
If you know anyone who could help us out, please contact the school
office.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Jennifer Wardynski
If your child/children participated in the Raging Waves “Plunge into Fitness” Program, your
tickets will be sent home tomorrow in a large envelope with your oldest child. Please ask
him/her for it.

To end the school year with extra sweetness, Home and School will be at Banana
Split on May 17th
. Tell your family and friends and look for coupons at the end
of this newsletter.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Is your child missing his favorite sweatshirt or a pair of shoes, etc.? Have you looked
all over and just can’t find it? If so, please check in the Lost and Found Bins at
school. There is one bin in each building and you would be amazed at what you
might find inside – maybe something you didn’t even realize was missing!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The School Supply List for next year can be found at the end of the newsletter.
For your convenience Home and School will once again give you the opportunity to
purchase a complete school kit specific to any grade level through SchoolKidz. . You
can view the kits online at www.shopttkits.com . If you would like to order a kit you
may do so online using ACCOUNT #23122, or on the form at the end of the newsletter. If you have
any questions please contact Michele Sojka via email at [email protected]. All orders are due
May 31st.
Schoolkidz guarantees the kits will be available at Packet Pick-Up Night on August 19th!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We are happy to let you know that Mrs. Jackie Szilage, APN, BC, and
Mrs. Jenny Baxter, CNM, BC and APN, BC, have once again very
generously offered to conduct sports physicals free of charge for our
students. The physicals will take place on Thursday, May 23 during the
school day. If you have a child currently in grade 4, 6, or 7 and would
like him/her to have a physical, please print the form at the end of the newsletter, complete the
parent section and sign it, and return it to the office. Please return your form ASAP as spots will
be filled on a first come, first serve basis.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is a reminder that students entering grades Preschool, Kindergarten and sixth are
required to have a complete physical by the first day of the school year. Students in
Kindergarten, Second and Sixth grade are also required to have a dental exam.
Vision exams are required for all Kindergarteners.
If you have a child currently in Kindergarten, Second grade or Sixth grade and have not
turned in your child’s dental form, please do so immediately. You will not be able to access
your child’s final report card until we have the form. Thank you for your co-operation. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
