The Strategic Plan for 2013-2017 developed and finalized with the assistance of the Sports Authority of Thailand emphasizes on three major objectives:
To develop and establish quality governance and administration.
To build strong players and staff base.
To organize more competitions in order to ensure outstanding success in the international arena.
The activities outlined in the annual report reflect the adherence to the strategic plan. COMPETITIONS ACC WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP 2013 CAT hosted the ACC Women’s Championship 2013 on behalf of the Asian Cricket Council in Chiangmai from the 21st to 31st January, 2013. Following countries participated in the tournament:

The winner of this tournament will qualify for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifiers in Dublin, Ireland. The Thailand team creditably well to beat China in the Finals and qualified to play in Ireland. Captain Sornnarin Tippoch won the Player of the Tournament award and Chanida Suthiruang won the Best Bowler Award.

Youth National Championship was held in Lopburi from the 21st – 26th January, 2014. Following teams participated in the tournament.

ACC UNDER 19 ELITE CUP The top ten ACC teams played in the ACC Under 19 Elite Cup which also served as the qualifier for the Under 19 World Cup. Participating teams:

ICC WOMEN’S T20 WORLD CUP QUALIFIER, DUBLIN, IRELAND Participating Teams

Thailand women’s team made the trip of a lifetime to Dublin to vie for a place in the 2014 T20 World Cup. The Thai women performed well by beating the more recognized nations like Netherlands, Zimbabwe and Canada. The team won the Shield Final by beating Zimbabwe. CHIANGMAI INTERNATIONAL LADIES CRICKET CHALLENGE This inaugural tournament was initially planned to have two teams from Malaysia and two from Thailand. Due to the last minute withdrawal of the Malaysian Armed Forces team three teams from Thailand competed alongside Malaysian Malays Women’s Team. Two Thai teams played in the final.
NATIONAL YOUTH GAMES QUALIFIERS The Qualifying tournaments were held in the 5 region to pick the 10 men’s team and 10 women’s team to participate in the National Youth Games 2014.

SPECIAL OLYMPICS CRICKET COMPETITION CAT helped to organize a cricket competition for the Special Olympic cricket players in Chonburi province. Three teams competed in this very special competition. EDUCATION Several Cricket Education courses were held by the CAT and CAT also sent participants to the courses conducted by ACC. CAT LEVEL ‘O’ COACHING COURSE

CAT LEVEL ‘0’ UMPIRING & SCORING COURSE CAT Level ‘O’ Umpiring course was held at Sathit Ramkhamgaeng School and was well attended by PE teachers from all over Thailand. The course was conducted by Warawut Suttajit, Nanthanit Khonchan and Rattanaporn Padunglerd.
CAT SPECIAL OLYMPIC COACHING COURSE CAT held a coaching course in conjunction with the Special Olympics for PE teachers handling the Special Olympics players. The course was held at Thammasat University from The course was presented by CAT coaches Nantanit Khonchan, Rattanaporn Padunglerd, Pundarika Pratanmitr and Ratana Sangsoma.

CAT LEVEL 1 UMPIRING COURSE CAT held a Level 1 umpiring course in Phuket from the 6th to 8th September, 2013. The course was presented by Ashwani Kumar Rana. CAT UMPIRES REFRESHER COURSE CAT Umpires’ refresher course was held prior to the start of the Cricket season and was attended by ACC accredited umpires.
ACC SPORTS MEDICINE COURSE ACC Sports Medicine and Fitness course was held in Kuala Lumpur from the 13th to 16th of May, 2013. The course was presented by Dr. Vece Paes. CAT Physios Acharaporn Puangkaew and Bundit Boonma (Nick).

ACC LEVEL 2 UMPIRING COURSE ACC Level 2 Umpiring Course was held in Kuala Lumpur from the 15th to 19th of August, 2013. Four umpires from CAT attended the course.
ACC LEVEL 2 COACHING COURSE ACC Level 2 Coaching course was held in Kuala Lumpur from the 17th to 22nd September, 2014. Six Level 1 umpires from CAT attended the course.

ACC LEVEL 1 COACHING COURSE CAT hosted the ACC Level 1 coaching course at the Royal Chiangmai Golf Course, Chiangmai from the 1st to 4th December, 2013. The course was presented by ACC Development Office Venkatapthi Raju and CAT Development Officer Thiti Kader. Twenty two coaches from all over Thailand successfully completed the course.
MEETINGS CAT AGM CAT Annual General Meeting was held at the Sports Authority of Thailand building under the supervision of the SAT officials. This was followed by a Development Meeting attended by representatives from all the provinces.

CAT DEVELOPMENT MEETING CAT Development Meetings were held every quarter to received reports from all the province representatives. These meetings helped in monitoring the progress made by each province.
ICC AND ACC AGM Khun Ravi Sehgal, President of CAT attended the ICC and ACC Annual General Meetings. PLAYERS DEVELOPMENT To strengthen players base and improve the skills of the players so that they could perform well in the international arena following programs were conducted.
