AIAC has evolved over years. One of the rules of the universe is growth. For any healthy

organization, this growth should be a natural, healthy and organic. Abiding by this law

of nature, I am making a very important announcement related to AIAC.

Last year, I had personally pledged to retire from teaching AIAC Level 1 and had

handed over the AIAC Level 1 activities to Pam Rosevear. Pam has been handling the

entire Level 1 activities single handedly ever since. However, AIAC has always identified

talented individuals from the student pool. Based on the performance of the students in

the Level 1 final examination and eagerness to contribute to the cause of AIAC, She

has designated mentors at different Levels.

It brings me immense joy to announce that from immediate effect, I declare Anjali Devi

as the mentor of AIAC Level 1. She would teach and initiate students to jyotish in the

framework of the high standards of AIAC. Anjali has shown the passion that is required

in a true seeker of jyotish. She has also passed the Level 1 examination.

Pam will continue to mentor Level 1 and Anjali joins Pam as a Level 1 mentor. From

today, AIAC Level 1 will have two independent mentors. Pam is in the East Coast and

Anjali is in the West Coast. Thus students who are eager to study jyotish in person in the

US will have option of selecting their mentor.

All responsibility of in-take of students, selection process, training and tests of Level 1 will

rest on these two very talented mentors. They will be autonomous in their functioning.

Level 1 is the entry point into AIAC and from today I shall not be involved in any day-

today activity of Level 1.

Pam Rosevear has been a mentor to AIAC

Level 1 students from May 2010. An active

kriyaban for five years at Yogananda

Paramhamsa’s Self Realization Fellowship,

Pam loves her jyotish practice as much as her

spiritual pursuits. She has authored numerous

articles in AIAC Times under a pen name and

is the author of 'The Life of the Sages' which is

posted on the school blog. She participates

in research projects periodically with

Saptirishis online magazine as well. She lives

with her husband John and two cats on the

East Coast. Pam has particular research

interest in Ayur jyotish [medical astrology].

Anjali Devi has been a student of metaphysical

and esoteric teachings for the past 15 years. Her

main focus has been in the Healing Arts. She is a

Reiki Master/Teacher, Clinical Ayurvedic

Specialist, Massage Therapist and Psychic

Medium. Anjali studied with a Native American

(Lakota) Elder and explored Shamanic

teachings which she still incorporates into her

practice. She has led Reiki Circles, meditation

classes and women’s spiritual groups. Her

interest in Vedic Sciences began with a Bhakti

Yoga retreat with Krishna Das and Dr. Robert

Svoboda. Listening to Svoboda’s telling of the

myths of India planted a seed that would grow

into her love and study of Jyotish. After studying

with various Jyotish teachers she met her Guru

Souvik Dutta and delved deeply into her

dharma of Jyotish. Anjali is the owner of Spirit

Touch Transformational Therapies in Nevada

City, California located in the beautiful foothills

of the Sierra Nevadas.
