Health Innovation & Entrepreneurship Annotation Program Faculty of Management, Technology & Policy Delft Center for Entrepreneurship MSc Annotation Program Diploma Master of Science Credits 15 ECTS Starts in September 2017 Language English The MedTech Based Entrepreneurship master annotation offers a comprehensive program for students who want to develop entrepreneurial skills and who are motivated to explore the opportunities for further development of their (business) ideas. The offered program will be additional to the regular 120 ECTS master program. Basic Entrepreneurship and Innovation course The basic course addresses what entrepreneurship and innovation is. The logic of opportunity identification either by analyzing societal challenges or analyzing what the value of technology is for various user applications. It furthermore contains the basic elements of marketing, finance, business modeling approaches. The course is blended with examples from practical cases and guest speakers/ entrepreneurs. (5 ECTS) Business development lab In this course students work on a real-life case together with professionals or provided by a research group or company and the objective is to identify the opportunity and articulate the implementation and exploitation of that opportunity in a business plan. This course draws on experiential learning and the know-how and skills learned during the other courses on ideation-validation and implementation is practiced and reflected upon. (5 ECTS) Entrepreneurship and Innovation (E&I) thesis part In this additional part of the master thesis the student reflects upon the societal/ business value of the main topic of the master thesis. Objective is that the student shows how he can identify and appropriate the value of the main know-how of his master thesis topic. For instance the student can describe the next steps that need to be completed to commercialize or introduce the technology investigated during the more science/ researchoriented thesis project. (5 ECTS)

DeadlineApplications should be submitted before august 15

Applicants should have:• A bachelor’s degree in Engineering.• A minimum of 180 ECTS credits or

equivalent academic qualifications from an internationally recognized university (listed in the latest edition of the International handbook of universities).

Outstanding candidates from closely related disciplines may be considered as well.
