1.2 Water Requirement, Waste Water Generation and Treatment
Total water requirement will be 500 m3/day which will be met through GIDC
water supply. The wastewater generation will be 220 m3/day. The industrial
effluent (185 m3/day) is treated into ETP consists of primary treatment facility &
Multiple Effect Evaporator and domestic waste water (35 m3/day) is also sent to
septic tank & soak pit and then sent to ETP. Treated effluent along with domestic
waste water are discharged into GIDC underground drainage system and
conveyed to FETP of NCT for further treatment & final disposal into deep sea.
No Effluent load will be increased after proposed expansion.
1.3 Air Pollution Source and Control Management
There will be emission from Boiler, Hot Air Generator, D.G. Sets and Process
Vents. To control the emission from process vents, adequate scrubbers, Bag
Filter are installed.
