Annette Brackin, Journey Coach and Consultant “Possibility is my Specialty”

Ge#ng  business  or  personal  results  ,  is  a  journey  that  requires  numerous  choices  and  ac9ons  on  the  part  of  individuals  and  organiza9ons.  The  view  of  the  world  that  people  and  leaders  hold  shapes  what  is  possible  in  those  choices  and  ac9ons,  and  un9l  that  view  shi@s,  new  ac9ons  cannot  emerge.    In  addi9on,  global  and  industry  shi@s  are  demanding  new  choices  and  ac9ons  that  aren’t  possible  without  new  views  first.

These  new  views  are  belief  systems  that  shi@  organiza9ons  out  of  “struggle”  and  into  “crea9on.”    Today’s  mentality  of  “success  takes  struggle  and  hard  work”  is  a  way  of  being  that  does  not  drive  success  because  “hard  work”  is  no  longer  enough.

Views  about  the  world  include  assump9ons,  beliefs,  ideas,  values,  expecta9ons,  stories,  moods,  emo9ons,  and  openness  to  new  ideas,  and  are  predisposi9ons  for  ac9on.  Old  views  must  be  replaced  with  new  ones  for  innova9ve  solu9ons  to  emerge.

About  Anne)e

AnneKe  is  an  organiza9onal,  learning,  and,  leadership  development  consultant  and  an  ontological  (way  of  being)  coach.

AnneKe  specializes  in  techniques  to  create  new  reali9es  and  experiences  rather  than  struggle  toward  them.    Crea9on  techniques  include  redefining  9me,  living  from  the  future  instead  of  ac9ng  out  of  the  past,  making  choices  rather  than  decisions,  and  transforma9onal  conversa9ons.

AnneKe’s  specialty  is  bringing  individuals,  leaders  and  organiza9ons  a  transforma2ve  view  of  the  world  that  has  the  poten9al  to  propel  them  to  new  ac9ons  and  results.    While  her  approach  challenges  old  world  paradigms,  her  process  facili9es  the  forma9on  of  new  ones.    AnneKe  uses  the  Hero’s  Journey  as  a  metaphor  for  organiza9ons  discovering  new  views  by  modeling  the  experiences  of  everyday  heroes.

Annette’s Skills I  help  organiza9ons:

•  Drive  new  and  powerful  strategies  through  apprecia9ve  inquiry,  collabora9ve  inquiry  and  ac9on  learning  methods.

•  Dis9nguish  choice  making  from  decision  making  to  accelerate  new  direc9ons.

•  Develop  leaders  as  “whole  persons,”  transforming  their  own  views  as  part  of  their  job  development  and  rota9ons.

I  help  individuals:

•  Find  new  meaning  in  the  events  and  transi9ons  in  life.

• Access  their  own  heroic  resources  within  to  move  from  “stuckness”  to  ac9on.

•  Embrace  the  mindset  to  live  in  the  unknown  peacefully,  purposefully,  and  produc9vely.

• Acquire  new  moods,  emo9ons,  language  paKerns  and  body  postures  to  support  new  ac9ons  on  the  way  to  new  des9na9ons.

•  Learn  new  ways  to  observe  the  future,  in  order  to  create  a  new  future.

•  Learn  to  create  the  organiza9on’s  future  through  their  own  world  views.

I  help  leaders  create  results  through:

  Conversa)ons  for  rela)onships  –connec9ng,  correc9ng  and  cul9va9ng.

Conversa)ons  for  mutual  understanding  –  framing,  meaning  making,  sense-‐making  and  context.

Conversa)ons  for  possibility  –  living  from  the  future,  rather  than  ac9ng  from  the  past.

Conversa)ons  for  ac)on  –  commitment  management  through  requests,  promises,  offers,  declara9ons,  assessments  and  asser9ons.

Conversa)ons  for  breakdowns  –  moving  from  breakdowns  to  breakthroughs.
